I absolutely love this!  I want/need/have to have!  I'm totally attracted to colors and this just sings to me.  Its beautiful and just having picked up some felt and embroidery thread, myself, in order to learn some stitches, I appreciate the work you put into this!

That is a really pretty coverup!  And I own a set of bright orange 35 needles!    I also have a set of size 50 "speed stix"  I've done the idea you had, knitted an afghan on the 35s holding 4 strands of worsted yarn together.  I gave it to my boyfriend and I have to say its the warmest blanket on the couch!  Perfect for cold nights of movie watching.

And I agree with the other posters, you really dont need a cover up, you look great!!

I'm from Texas but I moved to Montreal to be with my boyfriend.  I don't speak any French but I am trying to teach myself (Rosetta Stone & boyfriend helping).  I'm so happy to know there are others here that love crafting as much as me!  I have a few different interests and have only found DeSerres and Walmart.  Walmart is seriously lacking and DeSerres has my art supply needs covered.

I'm looking for fabric dying, fabric, sewing, knitting, crocheting, fiber arts, wet & needle felting supplies.  Anyone know some places I can check out?  Also maybe some crafting groups?

Oh wow....that is just so beautiful.  Seriously, I wish I had that dress at my prom.  It's truly just gorgeous!  Worth every minute of your suffering..    Being a texture/fiber art person, I'm in love with the bodice details!  Can't say enough good things and I cant wait to see more of your artistic creations!

Im working on a big project right now that's done on white 28 count aida.  I found mine at my local craft store (Michael's and Hobby Lobby) but I would think any place that has a large embroidery/cross stitch section would carry at least some.

Im so happy to know I am not alone in being overwhelmed by large projects.    The finished piece for me will be 11" high and 14" wide.  Ive found some inspiration and have started Bubbles' arm and left pigtail.

I would love to see the progress you make on your eagle!    Maybe we can keep each other on track.
