2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dragonfly pendant on: September 28, 2010 08:54:59 AM
They are all very beautiful but I like the third one the best, I love the wing details and it appears to be smaller than the others, more fragile.  I also love how you chose to display them on your hand (or a hand) because it gives more of a feeling that they are real dragonflies, almost a feeling that if you dont hold still, they will fly away.

Love them, great job and I cant wait to see more stuff from you!  Welcome!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Giant Granny Square on: September 27, 2010 01:15:32 PM
Good job!  It turned out very nice and grats for sticking with it!  I know how it is to have a big idea and then lose interest and set it aside so good for you for finishing!   Grin

and on a side note, I think I actually had those Carebear PJs when I was a kiddo!  *gasp*

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Full of colour decoration on: September 23, 2010 12:35:55 PM
I have always been attracted to bright colors and have been known to stand in front of all the pretty colors of embroidery thread/paint/yarn/beads/stained glass with wide eyes, a child-like smile and in my mind, I am pulling all the colors to me and rubbing them on my face with lots of giggling joy.

But anyway, I got this feeling from looking at your AWESOME painted bottle.  Cheesy  Would you be so kind as to tell me what kind of paints you used?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Skirt --> Pants on: September 23, 2010 12:30:22 PM

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Cats suck, well, at least mine does... on: September 21, 2010 07:02:44 PM
I love this so much.  I used to have a cat that did this, also.  But he would get that little bit of loose skin over your knuckle when you have your fingers straight, or the very tip of your pinky finger..  He would wrap his front paws around your hand and hold it to his mouth, purring like a mad man until he drifted off into kitty cat bliss..  I had also heard it was because he was weened too soon.  Have to say it is one of my favorite kitty qwirks I've had in my pets.

Thanks for stitching this, sharing it and allowing me to remember my kitty's silliness.  Cheesy
