I have thought about hanging him on the wall, but he is so heavy.  I am eventually going to make the whole level, including Megaman, the blocks and the fire he shoots.  Smiley

I really like the idea of sending him on adventures.  I may have to convince my friends to get dressed up and rescue a princess or something.

I live in Sydney really close to the airport and would really like to keep him on the roof so that people flying in would be able to look out the window and see him, but I'm not willing to expose him to the sun damage.

Hi peeps!

This is my first time posting a project, so I thought I should make it a good one..... Cool
So I spent two years crocheting these tiny granny squares then sewing them together.

After all that work and much much yarn I ended up with a very large dragon that will not fit in my room......

Or a one car garage.

Just a bunch of full sized adults lounging around on a dragon.

I made a pattern from an 8-bit Google image of Mecha Dragon from Mega Man 2.  After I had the pattern I realized I had to make really small squares if I wanted the dragon to end up a manageable size (did not happen....).  After I had finished I put him in a bathtub and tried to wash him, which basically involved me walking and jumping on him.

I unveiled him at a long weekend get away with a bunch of engineer friends who did all sorts of nerd stuff to try and figure out how many squares he was comprised of, unfortunately (or not) I consumed too much beer and can not remember their final answer.  I'm super happy with him, but unfortunately I do not have room for him and he is currently stored in a suitcase.

As I was making him I was imagining him being discovered by a future generation (like dinosaur fossils or caveman drawings) and trying to figure out what it means.  Shocked

Thanks for looking and if you have any suggestions of what I could do with him I would love to hear them!
