the running theme of the nurses does seem to be the covered face. In 1, 2, and 3 I think the faces look more like they are covered by plastic bandages, and Origins, 5, and the movie its more like a dark ash-y fleshy look.
You can still have hair showing and keep the theme of the nurses. In 1 they had short straight black hair, very Japanese- but you could make it look a little messy.
And these nurses look more like the bandages cover the whole head- including hair.
This looks like a really good option!
I actually think it looks better with some kind of detail on the face and back of the head instead of leaving it just white. and here is a pic I found of just two different SH nurses together
I was in the pokemon swap thats still underway, but my partner recieved so I wanted to post the goodies I made! first Up is Pikachu riding a surf board! This guy was way hard... especially his tummy area. I'm glad she liked them though.
Second here is a papercraft charmander! He's super cute and was pretty easy. Except for the flame tail. That was a little difficult.
Yay I received! I actually got my package yesterday but just didn't have time to put up pictures. Now I do! There are a lot of people coming and going in our house, so sometimes a package is easily missed. It wasn't until that evening when My sister in law came over for dinner that she told me I had a package downstairs. Very exciting!
When I opened up the box there were some packages wrapped very pretty. I almost felt bad about opening them, but I was way to excited. So ripping the paper off I looked at the biggest thing first. My own pokeball tote bag! And the silly bands that fell out. (delightful extras.) It's very cute, the pokeballs sown on so well. And I love the charm attached. It has a caterpie, which is one of my favorites.
Next is a cute charm bracelet! It has badges, and pokeballs, and gems on it. Very nice!
And my favorite are the pokeball stud earrings. Super excited! They are really cute, and pretty comfortable too.
Lastly there was a very nice letter attached. Somehow I always forget to include a thank you note, or a letter saying what was inside. I just get too excited about sending out I guess! Thanks so much for all the stuff!
o The tubey idea sounds good. He is a fat cat, but he's also a large cat. We think he might be part Main Coon. He's a little smaller than our cocker spaniel. We had to make him a special litter box too out of those large plastic tubs you get at target. Here is how he wakes me up to feed him:
And begging for cuddles:
The cardboard tubes, are they as easy to rip apart as cardboard boxes? Or is the carpet there to end that? We would just give him those- but he tears up the bottom and then eats the shreds.
Last month my sister had to have emergency surgery, so I flew down to visit her. I was visiting for quite a while taking care of her, but had nothing to do. So I printed this little number off and made it for her. She loves Snorlax. He was super easy, except for his claws. They just didn't work right. So I did his feet claws, but not his fingers. Oh well. She really loves it!
I learned to crochet about 2 or 3 years ago and all I've been able to make were scarves. I bought an amiguri crochet book when I first learned, but didn't understand the patterns. So it sat on my shelf for years. About 2 weeks ago I got bored with my normal crafting and decided to pick it up. My sister in law gave me all her extra yarn and it was taking up so much space so I wanted to get rid of it. For some reason, the pattern just clicked for me. I don't know how I didn't understand it so long ago, and now after not crocheting for 2 years I suddenly get it. Well here are my first attempts at making something other than a scarf. Here's a Dog I made for my other sister in law. She's a vet tech and works at a Cocker Spaniel rescue. She LOVES IT! I should make another, but use fuzzy yarn for the ears this time so it looks like a real cocker spaniel.
and second I tried to make the thing I bought the book for. A cupcake. I love cupcakes! But somehow he didn't turn out just right.
