2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Warhammer bag on: August 29, 2010 11:11:24 AM

This is my bag for carrying my Warhammer plastic around :3 I went for a scruffy look and i think i got it as i wanted it.

I had some problems making it tho, had to fight the machine about the mattress inside it, it didnt like having to work THAT hard - first time that happens.

EDIT: I know the handles are a bit meh but i was tired of it and just wanted it finished

Tiker, sounds really interesting to me!  I would like to learn to make my own period costumes for interpretation work.  It deals w/ cloting from 1830's to Civil War times near Springfield, IL.  Old Salem Village where Abraham Lincoln lived.  There are classes coming up soon.  Smiley

I also like going to the Renaissance Faires..but haven't made a costume for that...just a skirt for practice.  Do you use patterns or have to draft them yourself??  What state is it that you are studying from, if  I may ask.  Just sounds like something I would really like to sink my teeth into!!
Thanks, for sharing.

I mostly draft patterns myself but also use bought patterns, it depends on what is most convenient at the time...
I study in Sweden unfortunately XD not USA Smiley so no state for me ^^

But i believe that there should be similar educations in USA (in colleges atleast, we have checked it out from my school and i might go there when i graduate Smiley )

My fabric is in piles in different spots of my room (more of a crafter room then a bed room now lol)

If i were supposed to make that id make it out of some half-elastic material, and id drape it on a doll and then sew it - I don't really know how to make it in another way.
