Hello, all! I'm loving seeing everybody's progress.

So, I went on a big hiatus, but am back now. Unfortunately, I am also camera-deprived...so I won't be able to post pictures as regularly as I would like. But I will definitely update when I am able. Smiley

I'm working on a massive Super Mario Galaxy project for my boyfriend and would love to get it finished this year...though I am seriously doubting that will happen.

Here's what I'm making!

The pattern is 20 pages and I just finished the first page (lower-right corner; it was the smallest, so I felt accomplished quickly!) tonight and started working on the second page.

I will update with WIP pics soon, I hope!

Whew! Definitely been absent for a while. I have forgone the OoT stitching because my boyfriend and I are 100% broken up now. I just started a semi-big piece today for my aunt's wedding present. She and her fiance live on a ranch and have two horses and love anything to do with horses or cowboys (their wedding is cowboy themed) so I decided to try my hand at embroidery (this is my first embroidery project) and crayon tinting and I'm really liking how it's turning out! And, at the rate I'm going, I'll actually have it done early!

Sorry for the awful picture quality...I have yet to find a place in my home where I can take decent project pictures. The lettering is all chain stitch and there's a french knot (my first ever!) above the "i" and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. I plan on backstitching the outline of the horses and satin stitching the mouth, nostrils, eyes, and ears and putting it in a really rough, rustic wooden frame.

I know this isn't really a big project, per se, but it's definitely the biggest only embroidery project I've done and I'm proud of it. Let me know what you all think!

Oh, yeah, here's the picture I'm working from. I printed it out, drew over the lines that I wanted to trace in sharpie, then taped it to my fabric and traced it with a pencil. I did the lettering in word.

I'm currently working on a giant Ocarina of Time project.  I'm working on 22 ct. Aida and the finished product will measure (approximately--I don't remember the exact measurements) about 10 in X 12 in. Cheesy

Here's what the finished product will look like:

Here's what I have done:

He will love it and the look on his face when he finally realizes what it is (it's too big of a project for me to keep secret for long) will be so worth it, but good Lord I am already tired of background stitching!

I'm working on a huge Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time project at the moment, so I figured I may as well post my WIP here. Smiley

This is what the finished piece will look like:

And this is my WIP:

I'm working with 22ct Aida and believe that it will be around ten inches across and twelve down. Wish me luck!
