1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Homemade snickers bars!!! on: May 23, 2012 08:12:18 PM
Snickers is my husband's favorite.  I'll have to try these for sure.

I also have a set of Butterfly Gold from our wedding in 1974.  The concept of unbreakable glass dishes was new at the time, and my husband used to like to "entertain" our guests by throwing a Corelle dish across the room like a Frisbee.

And those of you who feel the need for a new set of dishes (I'm on my 3rd since then, even though the Corelle is still alive and well) just need to learn the art of redesignation.  "Honey, these unbreakable dishes would be so great for camping (or our RV).  We can get another set for the house."   Wink
2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Anyone have McCalls 8435?? I need info from sewing guide. on: November 27, 2009 07:30:41 PM
I'm trying to use an older pattern to make Bible costumes.  Unfortunately, this particular pattern envelope didn't have the yardage needs; they were on the sewing guide, which I cannot find.  Does anyone have this pattern, and can you tell me the fabric necessary to make the Size 42-44 angel costume?  I'd be ever so grateful if you'd let me know what they are.  Thanks so much.
