641  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: alice in wonderland underbust corset on: July 23, 2010 10:52:41 PM
This is lovely, so cute and I admire that you hand sewn it all.
well done
xx
thank you, i hand sew everything i make when i was lurking on here i saw so many people say their stuff got jammed in the machine or got messed up somehow and they had to take out alot of stitching so i never actually started to my machine lol
ill try to take a a brighter picture tomorrow so you can see the Alice fabric better, and i actually don't have a pattern i just made it up as i went, and I'm making the next one off of that, lol i probably should make one though it would be easier...
642  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / alice in wonderland underbust corset *new pic added on: July 23, 2010 10:19:31 AM
this is my second corset i've made, but the first under bust corset. i used some Alice in wonderland material i got, and put a zipper in the front so i don't have to unlace it to put it on and take it off. its all hand sewn and took me about 3 days of working on it to complete. in this pic the ribbon kind of plopped down at the top, but that's all fixed, i just haven't taken another pic of it after that had happened.
i know this last pic is dark but i wanted to show a close up of the material, the pics seem to transfer to the computer darker than they look on my camera, I'm currently working on a horror movie corset as well
i hope to hear any c&c you may have

*edit* the material has all the original drawings of the characters on it from the book

these are cute, i like how you included their symbol too on the pocket.
i was more curious about being in the bathtub than the lack of feet hehehe
644  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / 2nd gibbous inspired skirt *added a close-up picture on: June 22, 2010 09:31:16 AM
this is my second gibbous type skirt ive made. its all hand sewn and took most of the day to complete. my first one used all pink white and cream but i wanted to see if i could make a good black and pink one.
this is a side view of my skirt
this is the best back view i was able to get, i also didnt care for the skirt with my purple stockings so i put my white ones on with black knee highs and to me it looked alot better

thanks for taking the time to look  Let me know what you think  Grin
this is a close-up of the bottom of the skirt so you could see it a bit better, youre not seeing detail in the dark part because the black isnt lacey, its just solid black
645  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: my pretty pink skirt on: June 08, 2010 04:23:43 PM
pretty cute Smiley reminds me of a cupcake with fluffy pink icing. Smiley
hehe ive always wanted to be a cupcake...it was going to be my butterfly skirt but i couldnt find my material butterflies *pouty* but now i can be a CUPCAKE!

Beautiful! And I love the colors. I've been concidering making soon myself... any suggustions?  Grin
if you want to make this type of skirt, grab lace runners in your favourite colour..i used a dark pink runner, and this horribly ugly shirt that was nothing but lace and an almost organza material underneath...
646  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my pretty pink skirt on: June 07, 2010 07:12:47 PM
ive been wanting to make another skirt for a while(especially with it being so georgous out), and i love the quirky-ness of the gibbous, and gibbous inspired skirts ive been seeing so i figured its time to make one myself                                                                                       SO i grabbed my lace materials, hacked them up and made my skirt. its all hand sewn and only took 1 day of working on it while my boyfriend was at work this is the front of the skirt, most of my pictures were rather bright and it was hard to get the contrast of the pink cream and white lace because of the sun but this one seems to show it alright. this is a close up of the waist band

so cute! AWESOME handsewing skills.  I'd love to see a pic with it glowing but I think they're difficult to get on camera -i dont know how to take glow in the dark pics or i'd tell ya. maybe a blacklight?
thankyou so much for your comment, im determined to be able to sew like a machine LOL. i wish i could get it to glow for a picture, but my phone doesnt take amazing pictures im not sure how well itd catch the glow, maybe ill post a picture of the fabric glowing i still have about 2yards after this and a corset with it...i dunno what to use the rest on though
648  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: hand sewn stewie hoodie on: May 31, 2010 06:18:31 AM
thankyou, it actually only took me 3 days of working on it i think making the pattern took the most work because i was looking at a picture of a model wearing a sweater online and made a pattern from that lol.
