I got a kit in the DIY swap teaching me how to make melt and pour soaps. I received a glycerin soap base, yellow blue and red colouring, a flower mold and an almond and honey scent to get started. The first batch i made was the almond and honey sent, with the red colouring. i also added a bit of aloe and grape seed oil.

for the second batch of soap i used a cherry scent, as well as some flowers and leaves from a cherry blossom tree we have in the yard. I also added some aloe, grape seed oil, and honey.
i ended up getting a batch of each, filling the flower mold and skull mold completely so i got 48 soaps out of it. i also got an extra larger round soap from the left over cherry blossom but i was unable to get a picture before it was put in the washroom.

i made the rest of the stuff quite a while ago, but thought now would be a good time to post it as well

the top lipbalm is banana creme flavoured and the bottom is peppermint. its more of a lipstain than a lipbalm because after it seems gone it leaves your lips a nice redish pink colour for most of the day. The bath dust is pink, with a nice lemon orange scent to wake you up in the morning theres glitter in it to give your body a slight shimmer when you're all done in the bath and it also fizzes when you sprinkle it in the bath water.


the bath balms have a few different colours and scents. the lightest colour in the back is lemon orange for a nice wake up, the pink in the front is a refreshing peppermint and the darker one on the right is a fresh raspberry scent. Im happy with how these fizz when they hit the water, but i find them a bit crumbly. hopefully the next time i make them, they will turn out better. 

This was my first time making any of these bath goodies so i think they turned out pretty well and i'd love to hear any comments any of you have.

I was sent a DIY craft kit in a swap teaching me about polymer clay food. I was given a bunch of clay and tutorials and this is what ive made so far. i didnt follow the tutorials exactly and made a few things a bit differently but it was a great starting point.
Ive made a cupcake, which i have to bake and put icing on as well, donuts, a plate of bacon and eggs and some waffles. I did the cupcake a bit different so you dont see the line between the cupcake liner and the top cakey part. Im also going to use silicon for the icing rather than twisting white clay. I did the donut the same way except i modified it to make a boston creme as well. and i also made round waffles instead of square ones, and made them on their own instead of on the plate with the eggs and bacon.





i still have more things to make using the tutorials but i think this was a good start. ive baked and glazed the plate of bacon and eggs with my last batch of clay goodies, but i havent baked any of the others yet. i still have to use my alcohol to get rid of the finger prints as well but i wanted to post these while people were still posting pictures in the swap so my partner will be able to see the things ive done with their help.

         Ive gotten all my kits a bit ago, but am just now posting the pics. these are the pictures for the polymer clay food kit and the soap kit.          I love the liquid clay, ive been looking for it all over the place here but nowhere seems to have it. i used some of the coloured clay with the liquid clay to make clay "paints" which is really neat. Im going to try picture transfers next with it.




          the scent included was almond honey which actually smells like the pink soap they have in store bathrooms like walmart. I made 2 batches of the soap, one of the almond honey which i put in my bfs brothers washroom and a cherry blossom soap which i made from the tree we have in our back yard. i ended up with 48 mini soaps and one round bar of soap with leftover cherry blossom soap. I also looked up how to make soap paint so im going to get some more soap base and experiment with that next.

I just started playing around with jewelry a bit ago but i hadnt really done anything besides a few charm bracelets with some polyclay charms i had made so i thought it was time to make some nice beaded earrings I'd really like to hear any comments and suggestions you guys might have.






For the first couple of pairs i was going for a nice simple look, and i went more colourful and random with the rest. Thanks for taking a look

i recieved my package last night from terracruiz and i got super spoiled i got a really nice needle book with sherlock holmes on it (im completely obsessed with all the old sherlock holmes)

 and i got lots of extras. i got a hello kitty bag to hold grocery bags and a bunch of candy...its all been stolen already...there was also reese cups but they got eatten before i could take the picture. i got to keep the mustache from the lollipop though so it was fine

i also got some really cool erasers, ribbon and little clips with frogs and lady bugs which are so cute.

she also sent me some paper flowers and stamps

and awesome stickers, a note book, slide mounts and a baggy full of little trinkets,

Ive been trying to make some brains lately, and im not so sure i like these...i did normal looking ones with a wash of red to look like blood, and i also did some green kinda rotten brains for a zombie feel to them, also with a wash of red for blood..theyre then glazed to finish them off...i still need to put the eye pins in some of them so i can use them as charms

i made these nerds out of white polymer clay and then painted them, i put a few small white lines on them just the the real ones have. i plan on using it for a charm bracelet with a few odd candies, im sure, we all used to enjoy.

i made these using the powders ive been playing around with im not sure what ill use them for, but im sure ill think of something

i got some powders i wanted to try with my polymer clay rather than using paints, and i love the effect so far. i wanted to do something simple rather than anything complex to begin with so i could get the feel for them but i think the colour turned out quite nicely on these hearts. i also used some odd bits i found, like nails to add to them.

i made some mario mushrooms and some yoshi eggs, and put them on a chain for the bracelet

Ive been fiddling around with polymer clay lately and i thought id finally come and post some of the things ive made. i know this is kinda meant to be posted with the jewlery and trinkets, but i thought you guys would like it over here since its polymer clay so i posted it here instead.



i made the shape of the clay, and pit an indent with the pin in the back. i then baked it, painted it and sealed it with a spray finish i have had for quite a while. i then glued it to the pin with a very strong glue so it wouldnt break easily. im sorry for the dark images i had used my cell camera for the pictures.
