1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: WWP Beltane Fires Gallery (SO 4-25-11) on: April 29, 2011 07:24:30 PM
Hey All!!!! Sorry it took me so long to post these. I received a few days ago from the WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC, and did I mention, AMAZING Monnie! Here's the whole lot together. Please don't mind mon tomates in the background. I have yet to plant those lol.

She sent me an incredible package. I'm going to try and have the pictures so it some justice without taking over the entire thread with her epicness.  Wink

So here we have an awesome spoon wand (which I have been lusting for!), A witch plaque, and broom sticks (i love witchy wall art!!  Grin . There is also a HUGE star candle (my favorite shape of course!! Everything is better with 5 points on it. Just saying lol), and four things of her amazing soap!! I have a terrible love for soap and I'm so excited that she sent me some. It made the ENTIRE box smell so delicious!!!!!!!

Here we have a star candle holder with an awesome smelling tealight candle in the middle with a leaf impression in it. It made me so happy. I kept sniffing it and my mom managed to walk by while I was doing so and shot me a very questioning look. lol. She really shouldn't be surprised. There is also two taper candles and a box or mini candles. I love the minis so much. I've a;ready gave them a purpose of serving on my ancestor wall altar. They're the perfect size! And what else is there.... why a spell book of course!! I have an unnatural love for books and journals and this is just perfect to fit in my purse and to take with me so I can write a few things when inspiration hits.

Why what's this? A box you say?

With seeds in it! Even better! The seeds correspond with a Memorial Garden how to that she wrote out for my kitty. He just passed two weeks ago today. Sad He had a good run though. He was just over 20 Smiley I've had him sine I was 4!!

She made me Witches Runes! Which I have never used before and I can't wait to try them out. She even included a sheet on how to read them. And what's that in the background. WHY A PENDALUM!!!  Grin  Grin

Canadian rocks! I'm so excited to add them to my collection! Everything is better Canadian! One day I'll make a road trip up there. It's in the works.  Wink

Another box of amazing goodies! I love the decorations on the box. The other side has the triple goddess.

She made me 3 TOL's (from my wist!!!), a necklace with hematite and moonstone, and a fertility bracelet!

Action shots you say? Why of course! I can't resist!!

Another EPIC thing she crafted for me was a tiara!!!! Monnie is so talented! I love it so much!!

Another action shot you ask? No need to ask!

She also made a wire basket for me!

I have another unhealthy obsession with baskets and boxes and she definitely appealed that side of my nature. Wink

Why a bundle of sticks? What could that be about! Beltaine of course! I can't go to the local festival this year, so I'm doing my own little mini need fire at home. She gave me all of the 9 classic woods for a proper Beltaine fire.

Each of the sticks has a note attached telling me what each one is and what is stands for.

So if you haven't noticed the amazing fabric that AI have been using to photograph on them shame on you! lol. Last but not least she made me an altar cloth!! Here's the other side of it!

Monnie is a woman of many talents and has spoiled me rotten!! I can't believe all that she has done for me. She went above and beyond. Thank you soooo much Monnie!!!!!!! You are beyond amazing!!!!

I may have to use my phone or ipod instead. Unless I can steal mums. lol. Anywho, my package of epicness will be posted later today!!  Cheesy

I was having issues with crafster yesterday too. Glad it wasn't just me. I did get to send yesterday though. Woot! Thank you Post Office. And I only managed to spend about 10 minutes in line. Incredible! A small swap for Midsummer sounds great to me! You can always do it small and if your partner wants to do a large then you can discuss it that way. Whatever works. Either way I'm excited!!  Grin

I love the bracelet!!! How clever to make a choker out of it. I might have to try that. I never get to wear any cool bracelts becasue they get caught on everything. I love all the crosstitch too!!! Great job!!!
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: wicca pagan crafts on: April 04, 2011 03:50:03 PM
You can pretty much take any craft and add a little pagan to it. There's a swap for every sabbat on here as well as the occasional shrine, elemental, or other what-nots swaps too outside of the sabbats. I get a lot of inspiration from those and from stalking wists of people I know. I'm working on a quilt idea currently. I already have one with a giant Pentacle on it but I think I want to do something a little different with this one. I can't find any good google resources for pagan or wiccan quilt ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions?

oh oh oh! I'm in! I'd love to make that picture in my backyard as well, but I haven't any really good trees to hang the lanterns from! And knowing me I'm sure I'd catch something on fire  Roll Eyes  lol.

ok so here's the whole lot!

Crocheted eggs!!!!! I love them soooooo much!!!

close up of the triple goddess egg  Cheesy

Close up of the others! one has a star!!! I heart stars!! That's my favorite shape!

SOAP! I love home made soap so much. It's all I use now. I usually special order it from a local goat farm that makes their own. I'm excited to get some that were made just for me. They smell so wonderful!!! They are lavender and chamomile (two of my favorites!). I love the goddess mold she used.  Grin

Incense! It made the whole box smell amazing when I opened it up  Cheesy

And these are sugar eggs. They are traditional to be given in Switzerland and they are so delicious. I had to stop myself from eating them all before I took the photo. And they came in the cutest tin ever!

Everything was absolutely great! Thanks so much Morrigan!  Grin  Grin  Grin
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: WWP Ostara Basket Round 26 Gallery on: March 30, 2011 03:57:02 PM
Hey All! I received from Morrigan the other day! pictures are coming in a few. My camera decided to disappear and then die. Roar. Anyhow, I love all of baskets so far!! I think my favorite items from each basket are the crocheted broom sticks by Monnie (I definitely want a pair of those  Cheesy ), the crocheted Goddess and bunny egg by Radmom (I wish I could make me some of those), the mobile by wulf (so clever, I don't have any kids but I want one for me lol), the tarot box by Spaz (it's so awesome. I love all the whimsies!), the horns by impchild (must see an action shot at some point by the way!), the basket and eggs by grimscreed (they're so colorful!), the book by manykaye ( I want to make one at some point but I haven't the patience, I'm sure of it), the candles and beaded necklace by mangospanker (i need to learn how to make dipped candles. I love the color purple that they turned out to be!!), and definitely the eggs from whileitsraining (they're so pretty!!!). All of the packages are sssoooo GREAT!  Grin

I can't wait for Beltaine!! A candle swap would be neat. It would give me a chance to learn to make my own candles! And to buy the supplies for it. Unless I'm making it for someone else I never make anything for me. Either way, any kind of swap for Beltaine is going to be great. I'm definitely in!

Thanks for the compliment Wulf! The design on the bag is from her wists. I didn't come up with it. I'm just really good at "monkey see, monkey do" in the craft world. lol  Wink

I'll be back in a few with pictures from my awesome package!
