So I found this pink stretch netting stuff at my local fabric store on sale once and had to buy it. I used to dance a lot so it would of been great for costumes. But never used it. When I moved into my new apartment I needed a place for my earrings as they were all in a bunch getting tangled in with the bracelets and necklaces. So since my bf had dropped one of my frames while bringing our stuff in, the glass broke.  This is what became of the poor never used stretch netting and the broken frame:



I just stretched out the netting and stapled it to the back of the frame. Make sure it is stretched tight. The reason I stapled it was that it was a wooden frame and couldn't find my glue gun. 

I decided to make one for my friend for a Christmas gift. I found a cheap plastic frame for like 3$ and kept the back. The back was a cardboard color so I painted it black with some paint I had lying around the house. And stretched the netting and used a glue gun in the cracks to hold it there. I stuck it way in the back of the contour of the frame that way when you finish sticking all around the frame you can come back with a pen or something small like that to put more glue and keep pushing the netting in to make it as tight at you can. Anyway, here's the final product:



I am probably gonna make myself another one of these for myself because I love how it stands and well I need more earring space as you can see in the first picture that I am loaded with earrings!

Saw this scarf idea from here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=317577.0 . I had this random material I had gotten in a sales bin for like 50 cents and never really knew what to do with it. I found that this was a perfect project for it. One side is shiny and one is blah so I did one square shinny, one blah and repeat. made if fun from both sides.. I added random strands of the material in there as well.
Very simple project and doesn't take anytime at all!








So what do you think? 

One random night this summer, decided to cut up a couple of shirts I found in a bag of old clothing I forgot to throw away when I moved out! It was originally designed to be a skirt but looked better and made more sense as a top. I just loved how it turned out! I'm a business student so I love that I can just add a brown blazer and it looks professionally fashionable!




Taaaaahh Daaaaa!! This is what is what happened when I combined them. Couldn't find my iron when I took the picture so the flower is a bit loopy (but looks awesome now), added a button that I found on my walk to university one day..
