5  My giraffe blanket for a friend!!` in Crochet: Completed Projects by Brandy2005 on: August 14, 2010 05:42:29 AM
A friend of mine is having a baby boy, and she is doing his room in giraffes.  I was going to make her an amigurumi giraffe but decided to do something different.  I found a picture of a giraffe and graphed it (which to me was the hardest part) I used filet crochet to make it.  Here is the picture. It is going to the baby shower today!

Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking!!

6  My own baby blanket that I made my own of!!! in Crochet: Completed Projects by Brandy2005 on: August 13, 2010 05:29:48 PM
My mom made the baby blanket on the right for me when I was a baby.  She didn't have the pattern she used but I got some nice people on crafter to help me find it and I made the blanket on the left for myself to use as a gift or something.  My mom couldn't remember the type of yarn she used to make it so I used caron simply soft.  So, mine is a little bit bigger than hers.

Please tell me what you think!

Thanks for looking!!!

This is a baby blanket my mom made for me when she was pregnant with me.  I would love to know how to make this.  She said she followed a pattern but she was just learning how to crochet and has no idea where she got the pattern.... If you have any ideas please let me know
Here is a picture.

I hope I can find the pattern.  I would love to make this blanket.

Here is a close up of the middle... It starts as a granny square....

Thanks for looking and I would appreciate any help or ideas.....

9  Mr. Zombie Man in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Brandy2005 on: June 28, 2010 08:21:50 PM
I have been trying to find something to make my boyfriend for his birthday.  He already has blankets and nintendo characters..... so I decided on a Zombie since this is his new favorite thing Cheesy  I have looked at a few different crochet zombies and took a few things from each and added my own flare to it.  It is kinda gross looking... but... I hope you guys like it and I hope he likes it as well!!!!

The picture was taken with my cell phone so it looks a little off on the color...
Thanks for looking.

10  Re: ACTIVE: Granny-A-Day for JUNE - 6/1/10-6/30/10 in Crochetalongs by Brandy2005 on: June 17, 2010 08:08:07 AM
Here is my blanket so far... I really like joining them together as I go.... I don't have to worry about sewing them together with a needle. Cheesy

I don't feel like I am getting anywhere because I had to add two rows to the width to  make it the size I like.  It has grown a little bit though.

Also, I am trying to decide what would be a good color for my border?Huh

Thanks for looking Cheesy
