I went and got my package from the post office .... as an aside, it's time to get current identification - they weren't going to give it up until I volunteered who it was from and where. Yeah, new ID time.
Under the wrappings and really really well packaged and stuffed innards was this:
And then there was a small bubble wrapped pack with these AWESOME goodies:
the back of the keychain has "DON'T BLINK" on the back. I <3 this, as did my son who tried to steal it.
AND THEN!!!! The lovliest:
sorry about the flash reflections, we have no natural light downstairs because the windows are covered with snow.
BUT WE'RE NOT DONE YET, FOLKS! A small envelope from which was this:
(i know you can't see the etching very well, but it's of Matt Smith <3 <3)
and a letter, which reads:
As part of the liquidation of his estate and settlement with creditors, I'm sending you some artifacts from teh Capricorn collection. First up is a keychain aquired from the Drumlin estate. It works best with at least a littel lgiht (and you probably don't want to be left in the dark with it anyway). Next is a pocket watch aquired from the Latimer collection. It's believed to date back to at least 1913 AD. Alson, included is a drawing recovered from just outside Buckingham Palace, of Max's prized but fateful ship, Titanic. Apparently it fell from the sky as the ship passed, but was later returned to the Capricorn estate. The pride of Max's collection thought, is a little known Van Gogh painting. It's believed to be made of a mix of oils and acrylic, often regarded as a bad idea (though not really teh end of the universe ... ha ha), which suggests it's from a time when Van Gogh was quite mad. Finally, I've included a bonus item, a bookmark I believe. Seems like a charming fellow on it, bowtie and all. I do hope you enjoy the lot.
Darryl Barrington, Attorney
Max Capricorn's Estate
And yes, I really do double heart the lot! Thank you so much!
