I love making pincushions, theres some thing really magical and sweet about them. I like to include them in any little gift package,and when anybody makes a big purchase from me I throw one in as a gift. I also personalize them by making custom buttons and pin tops with sculpy

I think this top was intended to go over clothing as a play top for kids it features one button in the back. I decided to make it our of this pink/green silk gauze I had at home, its really beautiful and im happy with the way it turned out. I dont have kids but my friends kids will enjoy the gifts

I started making children's clothing after I bought a Japanese sewing book for kids. The drafting was a challenge, since I'm self taught, but there were enough pictures for me to decipher the instructions

The burn marks are done really well and are heartbreaking too.
 i really loved/wanted to be a special effects makeup artist as a kid. Im glad your daughter enjoyed it

Im not sure if you are open to jewel embellishments but I have been able to make Jcrew type shirts for a fraction of the cost by using sew on jewels like these
