Thanks Everyone!!  Since both gifts are for men (my husband and brother), I'm glad it's both recognizable and yummy looking!  I am definitely adding more "fat", so stay tuned for more pics!!

15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Fleece Bacon Scarf- Porkly with pics! Now Cooked & Crispy! on: December 02, 2010 01:43:20 PM
Just finished this fleece bacon scarf for a present for Xmas for my husband, but I'm not sure if I'm happy with it or not?  You can tell it's bacon, right? I used 2 colors of fleece, and stitched around the white to give it "texture".  Somehow it didn't turn out as cool as in my head..., so any comments or suggestions are welcome!

I played with this scarf some more, tried adding pink, but it was NOT the right color, so I went to the cooked version, trimming the edges more to make it wavier and adding brown stitching at the edges for crispiness...  I proclaim it bacony enough!!!

16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Barbie Resin Spoon Pendants on: September 16, 2010 03:03:25 PM
I've been making spoon resin pendants for a while now, but decided to decapitate a few annoying Barbies and see what happens...    I'm just recycling all over the place!!

17  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Stained Glass Mosaic Window- pic obese! on: August 04, 2010 04:30:49 PM
All I did was glue the glass pieces onto the window panes with Weldbond glue (I found it out!)...

That's all I did! Easy, and should be fine for inside. If it was outside, I'd try to grout it.

I'm still trying to figure out what brand of glue it was, but we decided that the glue was ultrastrong and shouldn't shift, so I just didn't worry about grouting it.  IF I ever decided to reinforce this piece, I would add resin to each pane...
Thanks for the words of encouragment!!!

Thanks Guys!  I'm not sure what kind of glue it was (had a red cap, does that help?)  The glue was supplied by the class, I probably shoulda payed more attention, because I might try this again!
