1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Seraphina the Needle Felted Doll on: August 24, 2011 09:40:33 AM
I made this needle felted doll for my daughter's 7th birthday, and her name is Seraphina!  I based it loosely on a fairy pattern from Spin-off magazine, her body and "clothes" are needlefelted, she has maribou hair, a tulle ballerina skirt, and a rhinestone necklace!  She was fun to make - needle felting is a very satisfying technique when you are stressed!!

2  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Painted Beachy Window on: July 24, 2011 06:23:10 AM
Since I had to let layers dry to get some opaqueness, this took a bit longer than I thought, but the Gallery Glass is fun to work with!
3  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Painted Beachy Window on: July 23, 2011 05:53:08 AM
This piece was commissioned by a friend, a true Parrothead, who loves all things beachy!  Painted with glass window paint, which is nice and forgiving!

7  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / 2nd Peacock Stained Glass Window (with more reds) -pic obese!- on: March 28, 2011 05:23:04 PM
Guess this really isn't anything exciting and new since it's kinda exactly like the 1st window I did, but thought I'd share anyway!  Good thing I'm willing to part with this one, because I'm not sure about the coloring (the added reds)...  This one is a bit smaller, and went MUCH quicker, since now I've perfected my technique- hahaha!  Still took 13 hours or so... Let me know which you like better, I'm adding a pic of the original at the end.  And, yes, this is a crazy pattern that my crazy brain came up with!!!!

1st window-
