What areplaces in Edmonotn that will accept consignment items?
I know of Nokomis and that you can set up at Red strap market, But that's it.

Anybody else know of other places?

Yeah, DIY culture isn't everywhere in edmonton, hey? I mean, there's stores like Nokomis on whyte ave but it's just mostly people I know who also do crafty things. No comunity to speak of...

I mean, what else other than a stich and bitch? Is there something we can do to maybe all get together with our separate projects and help each other out, etc (like craftster, but local)

Hey all.
I feel like I have the world's ugliest bathroom. I want to paint the walls a light grey/blue/aqua and make the cabinets an electric red-orange, but after that I want to treat the cabinets some way. Like, transfer an image onto them (trees?) somehow.




Any ideas how you could do that in a extra-humid environment?

get some clear vinyl at your local fabric store (or buy a clear shower curtain, now that i think about it, it's prolly cheaper) , glue a funky image onto the vinyl with sparay adhesive, and wrap it around your ipod . like this one from a company called tinymeat:
