I love the thought and effort that is behind every item in this. Well done!
And good job on hiding it away from the kitty too...kittens don't understand 'special' things!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: zip-up sewing kit on: August 22, 2013 04:40:04 AM
What a beautiful kit!
I found your photos helpful while trying to make my own, and somehow managed to avoid the usual issues I have sewing zips.
Thank you for posting Smiley
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: another celtic knot baby blanket (lots of pics) on: August 22, 2013 04:20:35 AM
I love your colour choices...and the design is stunning!
Your cousin is really going to appreciate the beautiful blanket combined with the very practical (but still very cute) underlayer.
Such a nicely made blanket!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Funky Travel Bags on: August 22, 2013 04:14:59 AM
You've done a great job on these; especially the fabric choices for your son's bag!

Thanks for posting the links to the tutorials too, I have a feeling I might be trying my hand at these soon...   Smiley
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Doctor Who Gallifreyan Quilt on: August 22, 2013 04:10:22 AM
That is one impressive quilt! I hope you're feeling suitably smug at what an amazing job you've done with it. And I can't believe that it is such a big one too. Well done.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Despicable Me Minion hat (with a despicable child model and tutorial) on: August 22, 2013 04:04:44 AM
Wow wow wow...I've finally learned how to crochet, and now I just found the motivation I need to get my tension right (it's a rookie mistake I know, but my tension is still all over the shop). Nice work!

Wow, this is incredible! Not only are you an amazing friend, making such a large blanket, but it's such a good idea, and so well executed. I hope you have some smaller projects to work on for a little while now...

You've done a fabulous job! I'm so impressed that you finished such a big project...I'll definitely be using this as inspiration to finally get around to starting a new blankie of my own!
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Reusable Grocery Bag Carrier on: March 21, 2012 05:08:20 AM
Such a simple idea - but so elegant!

My trouble is that I normally don't bring enough bags with me because I don't want to carry more than one or two...if I make something like this I would always have a couple with me...thanks for sharing   Smiley
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: ARRRR we be lootin in ye dreams! (PJ shorts and more!) on: February 10, 2011 10:42:53 PM
I love the shorts...good material find there!

What sort of fabric did you use for the ruffle skirt? It looks like a pretty darn good outcome for a first attempt   Smiley
