I lOVE your Easter eggs - definitely going to try.  I made Easter eggs a couple of years ago using a different decorating method and the workshop presenter told us you don't have to blow out the eggs.    Just make sure they have absolutely no cracks and paint them as is.  Eventually the egg dries out  - when you shake the egg you can hear it .  I would think these eggs would be less fragile.
