11  COOKING / Dessert / Patriotic Sesame Street Cake on: July 20, 2010 07:38:04 AM
I think this may be my first post ever to Craftster, how exciting! Anywho! This is a cake I made for my daughters first birthday! She was born on the 4th of July and I really didn't want a wicked patriotic cake but my husband did... I wanted something she would like... soooo after some brainstorming I decided to do the red and blue Sesame Street characters holding some toothpick flags! I am very happy with the way it came out. I made the characters out of butter cream freezer transfers, it was my first time doing that technique and I am super happy with the way it came out! I hope you like it!
