11  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Name swap gallery on: September 10, 2005 07:36:09 PM
I wear my purses across my body a lot of the time, because I hate the way they fall off if I just wear them on my shoulder.

EDIT:  hmmmm?  what a about a Bridget Jones swap?  hmmmmm?  Sorry, just thinking out loud.  Tongue

yes i feel that pain!! also a lot less effort is required, for example, i love clutches but the whole holding it all the time puts my off a little. haha im just lazy

that'd be a cool swap. and maybe we would have a letter in the style of the original columns about our own bridget jones situation!

you should put it in new swap themes ideas, i think heaps of people would do it.

i haven't read the second one! i really want to but i never have enough money for it, so i was going to wait til chrsitmas and ask for it.

i think bridget jones is one of the only books i actually laugh out loud to!!

i forgot to say that inside the bag is a biggish pocket and a pen pocket!

and the strap is the perfect length...i love long straps!!

A part of me really wants to join a followup of this, but another part keeps pointing out that the organizer will always know who sent what secret.

i think if you have someone trustworthy like jazzy then there is absolutely no problem, it is not like she tells everyone...oh yeh pink hula sent this postcard or whatever.

Also if you don't want her to know then you can ask for it not to be posted, then only one person will know your secret, and they wont know who you are.

i think a big part of the post secret is that you can tell people you dont know, things that your friends and family will never know. so unless you personally know the organiser it isnt really a problem.

Now, someone told me that in other countries, you have to ask for ice for things like Coca-Cola, otherwise you get it room temperature? True, or urban legend?

Now, i don't know about other countries, but in Peru if you ask for coke, they give you warm room temperature coke. they seem to think that putting ice in your drink is weird or makes you sick or something along those lines.  i apologize for my people! i believe that coke should always come as close to freezing as it can Smiley

i don't know where i would be without my ice!!

i dont know if people are still checking this, so i wanted to keep it alive

remember to keep me and your partner updated when you send or receive.

there is still six people to send (myself included) i am going to make the maximum to have sent by the 14th of September,

i know that it may sound a bit harsh to start saying this now but i want to keep this under control as i am going away at the end of the month.

you must talk to me before the 14th and tell me either that you have sent or that you will be late. It is ok if you will be sending a bit late, but if you don't let me know then i will have to start giving negative feedback.

i don't want to sound like the mean swap organiser, but it would be annoying if it wasn't fixed up by the time i go away as i will be out of contact for nearly two weeks.

i don't by any measure think that we have flakers in here as i have heard from most people already, but just to keep it updated please talk to me again and if possible tell me what day you will be sending.

i hope this didn't sound too  mean, because i didn't mean it too.

thankyou
