I saw sooo much stuff I wanted on that site but they don't accept Paypal and I have no other way to pay for it. If only I lived in the US...
What do you search for to find sites like these? My Google-fu is failing me and I'm not coming up with anything.

I am so tempted to make a massive kinder surprise container now - shame i have already found the right container!

Haha I love this idea!

A side note to the kinder egg, in Australia when I was growing up, we also had chocolate Yowies (mythical creature) with a native Australian animal toy inside.  They were fun.  Smiley

I remember Yowies! Not in Australia though, in the UK probably about 10 years ago (yikes, that makes me feel old. Or maybe it wasn't even that long ago...). They're the more "educational" version of Kinder Eggs. I love animals, so I loved those toys because they actually looked like the real animals rather than the things in Kinder Eggs that are completely cartoon like.

I'm hoping I'll find lots more whimsies now I'm back at uni. Up until now I'd just been looking round at home (near London), but now I'm back in Cornwall (on the other side of the country) so I've got a fresh set of shops to hunt round Smiley.

All this talk of Kinder Eggs made me crave them, so I bought a couple earlier (when I went to the shop to only buy milk  Roll Eyes).

Monday, assuming we have school, I will stop at the hardware and ask for their messed up keys. They always have tons and give them to me for free! My partner has decorated keys on her wist, so I will give key decorating a try. I've used them for school before to make windchimes. They have a nice sound.  Smiley

As in keys they've messed up while cutting them? If that's what you mean then I never knew they would give those to people! I'm going to ask next time I'm passing a key cutting place, not quite sure what I'll use them to make yet but I'm sure I'll think of something...  Roll Eyes

I ventured into town today for a few things (including whimsies!) and I was doddering around like an elderly person because of all the ice everywhere. I haven't fallen over yet though *touch wood*. I'm supposed to be heading back to uni in Cornwall on Monday, but a cross-country journey in this weather isn't looking too promising at the moment  Undecided.

I'm still struggling to find a container, I've got a perfect idea in mind, but finding something suitable is proving to be the sticking point at the moment. If everything goes to plan it should be pretty cool though. Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!

I can never wear the really cheap flip flops because the plastic strap bits rub at my feet too much. But if I do this, then I can wear them. What a brilliant idea  Smiley

I'm absolutely in love with these, hitting 'this rocks'!

You did a great job of matching my martner and me freestyle! We seem to have really similar interests, so gathering whimsies is going to be a breeze and so much fun. It'll be a case of "I love this, so I'm sure my partner will love it too"  Smiley. I've just had a pretty sweet idea for a container too, I just need to track down one that's suitable (meaning one that the whimsies can easily be put into and removed from... sounds confusing but all will become clear soon Wink).

Yay! Then once we're all partnered up the full-on whimsy gathering can begin  Grin
