Just some cute little green and blue mittens I knit up for my 4 yr old nephew... he was so danged excited about getting these from me I could hardly believe it! Apparently he talks about them everytime he puts them on... lol

Anyways.. here they are!

Ok ok... so I've looked around, and I'm not seeing oodles of chatter going on for this sweater... but I've just cast on and I thought I'd cast my hook out there as well to see if anyone else is knitting it too!

I've been looking for a comfy cabled pullover for quite some time and on top of that it's my first sweater I've ever knit! I'm about 5 inches in right now, and should have some pics up in not too long... anyone else?

Hey everybody... I just completed my very first amigurumi and alas I have no cute eyes to give the poor little guy a face! I could use some little buttons, it's true, but I really have my heart set on some cute little black doll eyes with the loop backing. Does anyone know where I can find them around Vancouver area? 

Hi everyone! It's the craziest thing.... I've posted things on Craftster before this, but never any of my knitting (which is my true love). So having realized that, I got out my trusty camera and decided to snap some pics of the baby blanket I finished for my closest friend. She's due in September. 

All began reasonably well....

I started out by taking some basic photos of it being modelled by my floor:





Got in all nice and close for the pattern money shot:



And well, apparently Jojo (my ever faithful sock monkey companion) didn't approve of my composition, as he decided to take matters into his own hands... err... paws..:



Oh Jojo.... he just can't resist teasing the ladies:





He left me alone long enough to get a shot of some baby socks I finished recently as well:

That's when I called off the shoot.... I mean, sheesh, the shots were supposed to be of a baby blanket, not a sultry sock monkey!! And besides, all that monkey business was giving me a headache!

I've seen quite a few different designs on here, so I thought I'd contribute with my own. I actually made this about a year or so ago, but it's taken me a while to photograph it.



It's a vintage frame with metal mesh stapled to the back. Works beautifully, was increadibly easy to make, and looks awesome with the rest of my bathroom decor.

I'd like you all to meet Dennis.

I made him as a christmas present for my 2 yr old  nephew (who totally adores him). I think his exact words were "wow!....monkey!"

Hi everybody! I finally can start reading this forum with regularity as my wonderful Dad bought me a spinning wheel for Christmas. Yay!

The only problem is it's missing the bobbin, flyer and drive band. Seems I should be able to purchase them individually, but I can't find any references as to where to order from. Does anyone have any ideas? (It's a saxony style wheel if that helps)

I've been tooling around this website for a few months now, and I'm finally making myself post something. This is Jojo Munkles, my very lovely sock monkey friend. I made him from a $2 pair of man socks from the gap (I saw them and was instantly charged with the duty of making a monkey). He took me about a day of sewing, which I haven't done in years, and was worth every stitch.

This is the only photo I have of him so far. Sorry it's only of his torso - I'll try to get around to taking a full length so you can get the full monkey experience.

Here's some more photos of Mr.Munkles; I took two full length ones cause I thought his legs looked a little stumpy in the first one (and I don't want to give the poor guy a complex). The closeup was mandatory as Jojo is a ham when it comes to the camera.
