1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Christmas Stuff (Hats & Handwarmers) on: December 17, 2009 12:08:37 PM
Super cuteness! Where did you get the pattern for the elf hats? I would love to make some! Smiley

I don't use a pattern, I just kind of guess at it and modify my increases so as to create a cone  Smiley

That makes them even cooler! Well done! Smiley

*runs off to take a stab at elf hat guesstimation* Wink

Lisa! I didn't know you were on Craftster... it's Amber Hughes from SWPB. Smiley

Awesome tutorial... I will definitely be making some of these for future photobooths! Best of luck on your wedding day! I look forward to seeing the pictures! Smiley
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: How does a craftster handle a bug? on: April 16, 2009 03:57:47 PM
It was said a couple of posts ago that what you photographed was not a roach, which isn't the case. I've lived in a roach infested house before and I can assure you that is 100% a cockroach. There's many many different varieties, so perhaps the other poster is only used to one particular type.

At any rate, I would caution you that for every one roach you actually see there are literally thousands you don't. You might not think they're actually in your house, but the truth is they go wherever the food is. I always found they liked to come out mostly at night, when it's dark... yech Tongue

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer... just thought you might want to know a bit more about it!

7  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Mini Sushi Cupcakes on: March 14, 2008 03:38:03 PM
Dewd... seriously.. I *hate* those little fish gummies (something about the taste), but I would totally buy those cupcakes anyways! That's just how awesome they are... Smiley

And yes, I would be one of the people who would try eating it with the chopsticks as well... how could I resist? Hehehe Cheesy
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Diamond and Smocked Baby Blanket **Updated** on: January 11, 2008 05:22:52 PM
Hi wiangube,

If you have a look at the original post for the blanket, you'll find it's actually a vintage pattern I've merely scanned and shared. Because it's such an old pattern I was able to do that as it no longer fell under copyright protection.

Unfortunately I am no blanket designer, but if you have a look here under the 'baby' section, I believe they should have some options. Smiley
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Steampunk Victorian Riding Hat. Lots of Images :D on: December 29, 2007 12:38:30 PM
"this rocks" button thoroughly pressed! Wink

Awesome job! I have a bag full of turn of the century ostrich feathers from my great grandmother who used to do millenary work... I think I'm inspired. Smiley
