the top one was illustrated by me- its of a robot holding a paper heart chain that he just cut out.

the bottom one is a block print that i made.

this is my latest coptic bound journal, it has red trees on the kraft paper cover- i handcarved the trees a few weeks ago. it has 80 pages of 80 lb. drawing paper and is bound with rust colored thread.

i have a big fasination with trees...is that weird? haha, i feel like such a nerd asking that! i dont know, it seems as if most of us are on the same page when it comes to liking things...i know a lot of crafty people say nature is a huge inspiration to them.
