I received a lovely dotee from southern flower today  Cheesy.

Look everyone, it's a wee Stevesy!

Complete with little gun hanging from his tail. Super cute  Cheesy! Thanks, southern flower. Great job!

I've received all of my dotees now, and the three I sent made it to their new owners as well. So here's two 'roundup' pictures, just for fun Smiley :

The great dotees I received:

And the ones I sent:

Thanks for a fun swap, guys! Count me in for another round Wink.

It's Mr Fox! Isn't he fantastic?! I adore the fact that his tail his attached with a little button (and can thus be snapped off Wink). Such a cute and clever detail  Grin.

He is adorable. Thanks a lot!

I received from xtabsx today, so now I too have some great artwork to add to this already amazing gallery Smiley!

Here's the entire set:

I'm sorry for the slightly blurred picture. It looked fine on my camera, so I enthusiastically stuck the inchies on my wall and only then found out the picture is a bit off. If you have a more detailed picture, feel free to post it, xtabsx!

And some detail shots/ close-ups:

First of, shiny firefly inchies! And they have quotes penned on their backs as well (e.g "I'm a leaf on the wind" for Wash):

Next, two fun Glee inchies and a 'Suit up!' HIMYM themed one:

And finally a polyptych (!) featuring NPH in all his dr Horrible and well dressed glory:

I don't know about you guys, but I would call this set
Legen.. wait for it.. DARY! Legendary. Wink

Thanks for the great inchies, xtabsx  Cheesy!

Look at my lovely shiny package  Cheesy ;

First up... a cute set of magnets:

They look so prefessionally made.Very cool Smiley.

Next, a wonderful set of coasters!

I got two in use in my room already, and the others are in the livingroom for both my flatmate and me to use  Grin!

And last, but definitely not least.. an amazing set of cereal killer bowls!

I absolutely love them! So clever. And perfect for me, since I just moved to a new place and hardly have any tableware to call my own Smiley. And with my fave Dexter characters too!

And lets throw in a group shot to wrap it all up:

I told you it was good  Cheesy.

Thanks again, Spectrumsparksie!

Secret #10:

-"I lack motivation even for the things I enjoy"
crossword reads: "boring, nobody, cares, HuhHuh?, Iunno, Dunno, GoAway, stuff, ZZZZZZ

(Comment: I hear you. I often cope with the same problem, and it is very annoying.. I hope you come around doing the things you enjoy anyways! Eventhough you might have to push yourself to do it in the first place Tongue..)

8  Re: Glee Swap Gallery Send out by 7/12/10 in The Swap Gallery by Vanillyz on: July 16, 2010 03:40:49 AM
I received the package Riechan send me!

Check out the pretties;

- a shirt with a great quote from the character whom I believe to have some of the best quotes ever Wink. And its also in the style of a shirt from my wist Smiley.

- a (crochet) bracelet in the school/ cheerio colours.

- a snap clip with an 'Emma flower', because I just love her style and the jewelry she is always wearing.

- 3 lovely bookmarks. One with the Glee logo (which I promoted to artwork and is now hanging on my closet-door Wink), one with a snarky Puck quote which makes me grin, and one with my fave mash-up.

- to images layered in plastic to use as page markers, which are also hanging on my closet instead Wink. I think its really sweet she made me a 'AD'-tag, 'cause I told her I dream of working on set one day Smiley!

- and last but not least, a pom-pom keychain for my dorm-keys, a set of pom-pom ear-rings, and a hand-made charm bracelet with charms representing some of the characters!
(football for Finn (and the boys, so I imagine), skull for Tina, a mic for mr Schue, soother/pacifier for Quinn, star for Rachel, and black/red beads for the school's colours)

Some action-shots of the bracelet to show of the pretty charms a little better;

- I have pretty slim wrists, so I had to loop the chain a bit, 'causing the star to 'fly' a little. But I think it looks cute anyway  Cheesy!

(Riechan, if you have a more detailed shot of the bracelet/ the charms, feel free to post them!)

She also sent me some 'neuzen', which is a very sweet Belgium kind of candy  Smiley.

Oh, and she wrote she was going to send me some of the sheet music as a little extra as well!

Thanks again, Riechan! You were a great partner. I like the stuff you sent me, and I had lots of fun crafting for you Smiley!

(Still have plenty of ideas for a possible round two, though... will it ever occur Wink)

I received 4 (!) more cards over the last couple of days.

Card 1:

Front: "April 4, 2004 Midnight"
"I will continue to live because you could not"

and the back reads:
"It's been over 6 years since they died. I see their faces EVERYDAY (literally). The pain NEVER goes away, you just grow an immunity to it on certain days. On others I replay the image of seeing them carried out in body bags. I can't tell anyone how I still feel, because I know they want me to get help. I don't want to talk to a quack, I just want want my chance to say goodbye."

Note to sender: I'm sorry you were worried it didnt arrive. I actually received it about 3 or 4 days ago already, but didn't have the opportunity to upload it any sooner. Sorry!

Card 2:

"I've been hospitalized for attempting suicide...
... twice"

Card 3:

"I dream of being a tattooed, sexy pin up model"

Card 4:

"I am pusuing a major in ecology and evolutionary studies, but I wanted to be a PORNSTAR"

Received 3 more this week;

card 1:

"After $aving to go to Japan... ... I now don't want to go"

card 2:
(sorry for the glare!)

'ransom' text: "Ik zeg dat ik uit Nederland kom maar ik kan niet goed Nederlands spreken" (translates as; I say Im from Holland, but I don't speak Dutch very well)

written text: "I was born in Latvia and moved to the Netherlands a year & half ago. When I say where I was born people get very silent suddenly. Sometimes I have to spend a lot of time explaining what is & what isn't Latvia. I am studying Dutch language but I am very shy to speak so I leave the impression that I am shy in general. At least my pronunciation is good. Smiley"

card 3:

"I feel like I have to choose between being a feminist and being Catholic"

"And I can't decide..."
