that happened to my friend!
we were in a hurry to hand in our projects for school and she got an industrial needle right through her index finger!
it was pretty cool afterwards 'cause she had a hole in her nail... well at least i thought it was pretty cool...

the seam ripper is good but for some hardcore seam ripping i use the exacto knife...
serged seams i use scissors to cut the loops and then it all falls apart...
but i've never tried seam ripping with the ball on the inside... i'll give 'er a try the next time i do that...
