I loathe pinning...I always screw it up somehow and have all my pins in the wrong direction when I begin sewing.
I have a pillow cover to sew and I bought an invisible zipper for it. I've been dreading it because all the tutorials/videos I've seen make this an upside-down, complicated mess (or my favorite..they take a picture of the
fabric/zipper/pillow form in artistic layout, rattle off complicated instructions and THEN show the completed project without any other photos in-between..grrr)
Your instructions (and awesome use of heat and bond tape) are clear and detailed, so I think I can do this!

If it makes you feel any better I got a catalog from some fancy schmancy furniture store and
they were selling (I kid you not) small bundles of paperback books that they had ripped the covers off of and bundled with little bits of twine as "artful" accessories.
The crazy thing was that they were about $15. All I could think was ...REALLY?!?!
Go on and do your book purse, it will be lovely and a far better honor to the book
