It actually has been done before, fairly recently:

Which is why I'm surprised there's not more interest in doing it again.

That's so fantastic! I always love your stuff but I think this is one of your best. Is there anything you can't do? It's all wonderful and I'd totally wear it all. All at once.
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: FRIDA kahlo tote on: August 18, 2008 08:18:49 PM
That is so fantastic. The Frida fabric is wonderful but I think the inside of the bag just makes it. It really pulls everything together with all the colors. Great job!
14  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: A whole garden...in GLASS! on: August 17, 2008 11:16:19 AM
Those are so gorgeous. They remind me of impressionist paintings. I love the poppies! Glass work is definitely on my list of things to learn to do. Those are some lucky teachers.

Hmm. I love the 1920s. Would it only be the 1900s or can it be 1800s too?
16  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Alice through the Looking Glass/Adventures in Wonderland Swap on: August 12, 2008 05:14:58 PM
I'd probably join depending on how much time/money I have at the time. I was in the first one like 3 years ago and I've been wanting to do another one. Alice in Wonderland is seriously like my favorite thing ever.
17  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Not really a recon but a fixer-upper! on: August 12, 2008 05:10:18 PM
That's a really good idea. I might have to try it sometime. That shirt was a great find. It's adorable and the lace makes it more so.
18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: ginormous (well, for me) fairytale embroidery on: August 12, 2008 02:54:59 PM
I hit the button. This rocks. It's stunningly beautiful. And I'm sure your mom will be completely thrilled. No one's going to see the back. I wish I had the patience for something like that. If this is your beginner work imagine how much better you're going to get! Great job!

Here are the rest of the pictures of the things I received from Whitleeann. In addition to the baby clothes, skirt, scarf, and bracelet I also got: a great well made tote bag with beautiful machine embroidery, some incense and a holder, beads, a vintage mushroom card, an awesome hooded jacket, and some multicolored crayons and coloring books for my baby. I love everything! Thanks again Whitleeann!

Unfortunately I couldn't get a good picture of the hoodie. I assure you it's awesome:

Ok Here are a couple of pictures of the things I received from Whitleeann. But there's so much more that I haven't been able to get pictures of it yet. I got an extreme amount of awesome stuff! Thanks Whitleeann!!! This was absolutely the best swap I've ever done. I will post more pictures when I'm done cleaning up after my mini revolutionary.

Whitleean made me 2 adorable tie dyed baby t-shirts and an awesome pair of baby pants with a great owl print. Here is my son Zeppelin modeling his awesome new duds.

I also received a fantastic batik skirt that I've been wearing all day and a scarf that matches it perfectly. In the second picture you can see the cute bracelet that Whitleeann made.

There are more pictures to come!
