I got home from work last night to my two awesome cards from blupaisan!
(I apologize in advance for the horrid pics...I have terrible lighting in my house)
I had two cards inside of this awesome card with a kitty wearing his tam o'shanter!
He says: "Donald, where's yer troosers?" (tee hee)
This was my Scotland card:
Such beautiful details in this card. On the side is written: "Scotland's blue mountains wild where hoary cliffs are towering in grandeur are dearer tae me...piles land of the misty cloud land of the tempest loud. Land of the brave and proud land of the free!"
The red cards come out and each has a bit of history on each one.
#1 - Sparran: Scottish Gaelic for "purse". There are no pockets in a kilt; hence the need for such a pouch, made of leather or fur
#2 - Kilt made of 8 yards of woolen clan tartan fabric to represent one's own family - worn by men, to just below the knee. Upper length is used as a cloak.
#3 - Bagpipes "arrived" in Scotland around 1400, and were used as "war pipes" in the military
Beautiful card....I just love it.
The next is my humor card.
Woman #1: "Denver makes me shit funny?"
Woman #2: "No, it's crap funny."
Woman #3: "Oh naff off and get it right; it's 'Denver makes me poop
I love these cards - thank you blupaisan!!
