Nice rendition of the photo.  I just wish people would quit referring to Acrylic yarn as 'cheap walmart yarn'.  Not all acrylic yarn is cheap nor can you only find it at Walmart.

I don't read Italian but I do read symbols and the pictures are easy to decipher.  Thanks!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: granny square pattern I made up -- opinions? on: October 22, 2005 08:17:36 AM
Honestly?? 1-  It would look a lot better if you used colors that matched.  2- used abbrev's that are actually used in tutorials for stitches.
It keeps things less confusing.

Other than that, you did good.

My son saw this monkey and had to have it.  Do you know where I can find the pattern for it?  He's a Japanese cartoon fan - at 24 yr. old no less.lolol   Very good job! Smiley

Grusinskaya --- Thank you! I liked the poncho in the original pattern, but I'm thrilled that I managed to alter it and make something even more 'me'...

So basically it's an ALTERED or MODIFIED version from a Copyrighted original......
Nice job. Smiley
