I've had this idea in my head for awhile but being busy with work and daughter i've been lazy to put the energy into it. well i finally did it this past week.  I made her a tunic type top and matching headband. The pants I made a few months back. I just traced an old dress top and figured out the sleeve thing on my own.

It was an old pillowcase that just sat around the house bu i fell in love  with the pattern.

thank goodness for bias tape. the sleeves are alittle long but it adds to the charm

how do you go about hemming a towel?

I bought some fabric awhile back and have finally cut it in half to make bath towels, so they're thick. I tried hemming them (rolling the edges in half and sewing with my machine) but found it rather difficult.

I hate the raw edges and it would be nice to run them in the wash with out them fraying.

Its been raining here(san diego) on and off. So on one of those days it was raining i decided i would make my daughter a poncho.

anyways i had alot of this fuzzy like leopard fabric that a friend gave me becuase she has grown out of her "im so punx" phase and didnt know what to do with.

it was a consuming task due to the little one. so it was mins here  there and so on. like how im trying to type with her here.
so here are some pictures. i did clean it up sniped thread and sewed it alittle more. i was just so releied to get it done especially after i had sewn the hoodie part wrong side and couldnt fnd my seam ripper(found it the next day) yep.

So i have this thing for dressing my daughter up for un-major "holidays" like on Halloween we found the biggest possible pumpkin and carved it and stuck her in it,well last night we had a friend come over and take pictures of her as cupid. I sewed up her "arrows" and pouch and i made her wings. a couple hours worth for the use of about ten minutes and a cranky baby. she liked being in a pumpkin better. ^_^

ok so i looked and looked for infant duck costumes and could only find one that was like 35$. i didnt think it was worth it and it wouldve been too big for my daughter becuase it was for a 12monsth old.

so i just made one. i bought felt and this soft yellow fabric from walmart. well after a few days i got it done just in time for halloween.





thougth id throw these in as well. you might get some laughs.
