Here is my attempt at making a Tree of Life pendant. My first one I did, I started at the top and not the bottom with some off center results. I redid it from the bottom and this is what I got. My inspiration is from the fantastic ones PhoenixFireDesigns does. She is absolutely wonderful! She has helped me by letting me pester her with questions.
Thanks for looking!

Please excuse the crappy pic. It was done on my phone.

Thanks! Yeah I had someone tell me something similar; they liked it because it was birthstones. Cheesy I've actually just made another like it recently in fact since it's been so well received.
I have been thinking about attempting to make a Tree of Life Pendant. Just to see if I can. Then, I will get some peridot chips and make one in memory of my mom for myself.  Smiley I love the ones you make!!

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Pot holder on: January 10, 2011 01:26:18 PM
I have small hands and have a time with regular pot holders. My friend Gina had one like this. I borrowed it, made a pattern and went to sewing. Here is what I made. It is pretty much a test one. I couldn't find insulated batting so I got some ironing board cover fabric and some regular batting to use instead.
So, without further ado:

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Glue Question......... on: January 08, 2011 11:42:03 AM
I posted this in the glass section but have had no responses yet. I thought I would post it here since it does have to do with the home, in a way.
I want to make some "blingy" glasses by gluing rhinestones onto glass. I was wondering what would be the best glue to use that would hold the stones on the glass and endure washing.
Thanks in advance!!!!!

9  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Glue Question.............. on: January 07, 2011 09:34:11 AM
I am not sure if this would be the correct forum to post this question. If not, I sincerely apologize.
I want to make some "blinged" glasses for some friends. I want to glue rhinestones onto the glass in either different patterns or monogram them. I was wondering what type of glue I would use for this. I would be using flat backed rhinestones, just cheap ones really.
Thanks in advance!
