1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Paper Chain Scarf on: December 23, 2010 05:52:11 PM
I made this for my 7 year old niece for Christmas.  My fianc and I are both scaling back on presents this year, but when I saw this pattern in a magazine, I knew I had the perfect present for her.  Hopefully, she will love it.  Do 7 year olds even like scarves?  I'm tempted to make one for myself.  I had a lot of fun making it and it's my first real project apart from learning all my stitches.  Comments are always welcome  Merry Christmas to all!  Cheesy

2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / The Bride on: November 04, 2010 08:42:32 PM
As I am engaged to be wed in the next year, I thought that this year my costume should be only fitting.  I hand sewed (only because my sister's Singer would not work for me) this costume from a 'Simplicity' pattern, removing the sleeves.  I was quite proud of my work and that I was able to fix my hair (yes, that's my own hair) in a very authentic way.
