Shocked Such a gorgeous fabric to make a coat from. Did you make a skirt (guessing from the photo) as well?

OMG, this is such a great idea!! I was thinking I'd have to learn how to quilt to use up all my dinosaur t-shirts! It looks fantastic, and I think it's plenty colorful Smiley

Super cute!! I'm so jealous that you figured out how to freehand the pattern.

how did u cut the original strips so symmetrically that all the beads are the exact same size and shape? the beads look SO neat and nicely finished, hard to believe made my hand! do u use a rotary paper cutter or something? seems like cutting long THIN triangles for the beads would be hard to do...

I actually did cut them all by hand! I suck at keeping a rotary cutter from veering off in the wrong direction. Smiley Thank you for the nice compliment Cheesy

A couple of new necklaces with paper beads and fabric flowers (crappy photos 'cause I was trying to be quick):

28  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Peach Gelato on: August 19, 2012 09:19:58 PM
I dug this post up out of a search for recipes with peaches!  We just moved to a house with a peach tree in the backyard, and I thought I'd better find something else to do with them besides, y'know, pie.  So I made this gelato today with about five medium peaches, a white nectarine, a bunch of strawberries and yogurt instead of marscapone, and it was FABULOUS.  Even my husband likes it, and he doesn't usually like a) peaches or b) yogurt!  Thanks for the awesome recipe Smiley
