Here's a little gift I made for a co-worker's baby shower.

That's really cool.
I also have an MP3 player that is non-ipod and I am trying to figure out a clever cover up. Great job!

That's so cute!!! Girl baby showers are so much better 'cause you get to use WHATEVER colors you want, without limitation. Great stuff!

Thanks so much!  Grin No, the diaper cake wasn't hard to cake. Maybe frustrating, but not really hard. It took less than an hour. Since I didn't have round cake pans to put my spirals of diapers in to hold them up, I had to balance them and then wrap rubberband [or elastic, depending on circumference of the tier.] My boyfriend helped me make it, and I'd definetely recommend an extra set of hands!!!

  The pattern is here:
I didn't really have trouble sewing it, but I did it by hand. I had more trouble cutting the fabric. . . guess I'm not really used to it. Plus, my cats all decided to "help" me/ Wink

Thanks for the comments, guys! I really aprreciate it.

Sooo cute! Was that a difficult pattern to knit [the houndstooth]?
19  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Target Yarn...now 25 cents each! on: November 09, 2005 02:08:30 PM
I'm not so mobile, so I won't be enjoying the fruits of this wonderous sale of yarn. I did buy some of the lavendar fur stuff for my sister for Christmas, and I thought it was a deal at a dollar! I'm still a little jealous. . .
20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Dayflower Lace Scarf (with link to free pattern) on: October 17, 2005 11:02:09 AM
I've done 8 repeats and it's iffy, but I'm about 1/2 way through at this point. I'm using 9's and my yarns a bit thick. . .  me thinks 10 or 11 would have been better. I'm crossing my fingers that blocking will salvage it! Undecided
