I told my 7 nieces they were getting homemade gifts this year for Christmas. I really just wanted to get rid of some scraps of fabric and trim. This is one of the gifts that I think turned out great! The pictures do not do it justice. , , , , , , , , ,
My 7 year old niece picked out the material for this quilt. She wanted a rag quilt, but I did not want to do normal squares with X's quilted on them. So, I tried something new. I machine quilted a square into each fabric square. It makes the quilt look a lot neater. Thanks for looking.
Hey everyone! I have a huge stash of rickrack and whenever someone I know has a baby these burp cloths are the first request I get. My brother and his wife got a call yesterday morning telling them their was a baby girl ready for them to adopt. They get to bring her home tonight. I'm so excited!!!
This bag is a experiment. I got inspiration from the magazine wallets. I took scrapbook paper and put the iron-on vinyl on it and grommets to insert the fabric handle. The paper was to stiff and very hard to sew. Excuse the terrible seams, if I make another I will definitely have to practice. Just in case i do make another, do you like the handle ripped or one neat piece on the side.
Sorry about the previous post I forgot the pictures.
