1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Make-a-Friend Round 6 -- Summer 2010 Gallery! on: July 30, 2010 09:03:26 AM
I received a great package from my partner, pkwj. Sorry its taken so long to post,
(it came the day before my vacation). pkwj sent me a bar soap holder and crotched face scrubbers(great idea), wash cloth, bath salt, candles, flower soaps, a body scruber, hot chocolate to relax with and some flower charms.
A great fondue book. Thanks pkwj, I don't have anything on fondue or gum paste, and it was nice to have something to read on my vacation. Lastly, thread catcher ( I really needed this). Thanks again for the great package, I love it all and it's just what I needed!

All of the inchies I have received have been so creative, my pictures do not do them justice. I can not wait to put them all together and frame them!!!!

From Slybetty, I love the movie Zombieland, Thankyou!

from audio-astrophysics, the color and detail are great, thankyou

From dinkime, thankyou so much I love them.

From McJulie-O, thankyou, thankyou, I love how you hand drew them.

From Starryeyeddiy, they are awesome and I did not want to break them up!

From MunLtStmpr, my favorite one is the "how many licks does it take to get to center"  also the pressed flower, very creative!

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Burp Rags on: June 03, 2010 10:56:39 AM
I first made them about about 8 years ago for my sister using plain average flannel, which, I hate because they pill so much, but I didn't know better at the time. I made them again a couple of years later when my sister had another baby and used knit. My sister did not like them, she said the flannel ones were her favorite because after their done pilling the burp rags are really soft and absorbant. I get request for them all the time and lately it's been from people who want to give them as gifts.

This is so weird, I think I just commented on your scrapbooking post.

All the packages so far have been great! Also, LOVE the bracelet about the duck. I might have to share that with a few small organizations I know that are trying to be creative in raising money for the oil spill cleanup. If that's OK Curousfae?

Uh? why do cats (including mine) think it's their business to inspect every box that comes into the home?

Great pages! When I looked at your pages. I first, noticed the pictures and then the beautiful layout and embellishments. Which is the way I like it! Also, I have a 12 year old boy who will still ask me to sit with him and look through his scrapbook. (Just something for you to look forward to.)

Great inchies, I wish everyone in the swap was in my group. I'm crossing my fingers to get a few zombie inchies from my partners since it was one of my themes.

just checking in, I have a question that is not inchie related.

What is a whip bag? Is it just a tote bag? Does it have certain pockets? Can it be any size?
