11  The newest jack-o-melon! in Halloween Decor and Parties by eternallyeve on: October 25, 2011 05:48:44 PM
Long story short: it's spring here in Australia, pumpkins taste crap compared to watermelons, watermelons are way cheap, watermelons with candles inside look awesome thanks to the glowy red goodness innards.

So, this is what my boy and I can up with this year:

We carved a scary countenance, a spider in web (my favourite this year) and a dinosaur. Why? my son is four, that is all. LOL  Cheesy

We had a absolute blast carving this jack-o-melon. If you'd like to check out more on the origins of the jack-o-melons, have a look at this past Craftster post.

As always, extra info on my blog.

Thanks for looking!

12  Re: Owl Swap! Gallery in The Swap Gallery by eternallyeve on: July 16, 2011 06:28:49 AM
Thanks to How Lovely I have had the absolute best swap experience  Grin. I have been spoiled rotten and I love everything!

Stickers for my little boy, who loves them and made himself a pirate/stegosaurus truck with the stickers already

Wall stickers for my baby girl, I adore these!

Owl bunting for my baby girl - the colours could not be more perfect and their little googly eyes are fantastic  Cheesy
Owl embroidery for my girl too, and a special blue owl stitched brooch for me

Notebook for me and a range of fabulous handcrafted owl cards. I love these, and since I love to send 'real' thank you cards in the post these are wonderful

Jewellery! That necklace is just so perfect, the colours are just right for me and the pendant is gorgeous handmade glass. The earrings are perfect danglies in my favourite colours

THIS bag made me squee! I'm totally taking this to the wedding I am attending in September and I'm going to design my dress around the colours

How Lovely, you totally rock! You deserve the 'Best-ever swap partner' award! THANK YOU  Kiss

14  Re: Lets See Pics of Tattoos You Designed! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by eternallyeve on: May 19, 2011 01:48:10 AM
Ok, here is my fresh piece. Inner wrist to inner elbow, black only.

This is a piece I very laboured over for weeks after contemplating my design for years. I freehanded the design on paper and then re-made it in Illustrator, it turned out lovely and clear so the tattooist used the design just as it was, no alterations.

15  Imp captured! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by eternallyeve on: May 18, 2011 05:29:38 AM
This little guy was my contribution to the recent World of Warcraft OTT (one tiny thing) swap.

My partner's main character in the game is a warlock and uses an imp as an assistant during fights. Since I have been working on my sculpting of late I felt the need to craft another miniature, and I love the idea of putting things in jars (for visual appeal, storyline and safety).

The little blighter is polymer clay over a wire armature, painted in acrylics. The fur is remnants of faux fur fabric, with colouring altered by marker. Wire for earrings, wood panel for the base, acrylics and coloured cotton for the fire effect at his feet. You can see his size in the last pic, in the jar the total piece comes in at a touch over 4 inches.

C & C always welcome  Cheesy

Since dear Serenthia has received, she has graciously said I can post pics of my package to her. I have been toying around with my light-box so this is a good time to show off the outcome  Cheesy

Making the most of my partner's warlockiness and common use of her imp, I made this:

Please excuse the enormous pics  Undecided

I believe all my partners have received now, so I wanted to share this.

Many of my inchies were sections of a larger picture, I want my partners to see how their little inchies are a part of something bigger that we now all share.

So there you go ladies, now you all share a little piece of something bigger. Hope you all liked them and thanks heaps for the great feedback.
