21  Dr. Who Birthday Cake in Dessert by Juliana13 on: October 13, 2010 11:10:08 AM
Hello Craftster! It's been a while since I've posted anything up here so I thought I would post this. I do not take credit for baking this, but the woman who did gave me permission to post it up online. Today is my Dad's birthday and he is a huge DW fan. So for is 56th birthday a friend of his made this cake for him. I love it, now I want one for my birthday. My son didn't want to go to school today in case we ate the cake before he got home!
As I said, I didn't make this one but Sue (the woman who did) did a fantastic job!!!

I received from MunLtStmpr!! Some beautiful inchies. I love the colours! My son just loves the beaded one, he almost stole it! He's 13 and said "Wow Mum, she's really talented if whe can make an inchie like that! Why didn't you bead some?" So my dear inchie partner so far in this house you take the cake! lol  Grin

P.s. by the way partners, did you notice the card she sent them in matches her address label? love it!

I've received from two people already! First from xTabsX all 8 plus bonus ones, i must have been good! I think my favs are the bottom left on the cover that looks like wings and feet and the one below it

then today I received from NH822. so funny because the ones she sent to xTabsx my favs were the stamp and miss piggy. Well i got a stamp and I got SWEETUMS!! he's my fav of all the Muppets! Sorry aobut the blurry pic I think my scanner is slowly biting the biscut. you can't see very well but the one above the dove is amazing! I think my favs are the first top three and the bottom middle three.

thanks so much you two for helping me start my very own inchie collection. I going to buy a scrapbook just for my inchies!

those picutres look great! you can tell the kids were really excited. well, they must have been since they couldn't wait and opened their packages at the gas station. I did get a few pics of what Jake made. By the way, the rubber band was wraped around the blue felt that was cut into the shape of a hoodie and inside that hoodie was a clay medusa head with cut up pipecleaners for hair. That Hogwarts patch came all the way from Universal Studios Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Jake is sewing his patches on his jean jacket. So here are the few pics I have.

no monster book would be complete without teeth

and before we left for our vacation Jake was so excited about going to Harry Potter world that he made Sheamus his very own liquid luck!

So after crazy post office maddness I received my Supernatural goodness from amc-
here is my very own Sam and Dean hotness, I get to see them everyday because they are displayed proudly on my fridge. Sam and Dean magnets!!!!!!!!!  The quotes are from season 2 episode 3 "Houses fo the holy". Now I have to go back and watch that episode again. Oh, who am I kidding? I'll just watch that entire season again! Grin

Thanks so much! I love them!

monster book of monsters. i helped him with the lettering a bit

complete with teeth!

he made a few enteries in it but told his partner that it is just a baby book so it isn't all filled in yet and that he would have to do the rest as he encounters other beasts

There was a knock on my door, the door was answered and then a 12 year old boy shrieked in excitement! [ I didn't even know he could do that! ]
Yes that's right, Jake got his package from Sheamus today. Cheesy  I was very impressed with the caution he used while unwrapping everything. Sheamus did such an awesome job and here's the proof: WARNING: picture heavy
So here is Jake getting the box open. check out the tongue! lol

the look on his face when he found is own name plaque

his very own hand made AC/DC hat

his very own "emergency cash" barrel

his initail for his door

and then the two best gift of all, not including the 5th Avenue chocolate bar and the jar of Flarp....

his very own Dr. Who Shirt

and playing cards!

now Jake wants to invent his very own Dr. Who card game! Thanks Sheamus you were an AWESOME swap partner! hope you get yours soon!
