11  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Beam me up captain on: January 17, 2010 06:59:33 PM
I made this outfit for a convention that I went to a few months ago a brought it out this last weekend for an other one. I made the dress out of an over sized men t-shirt and then some scrap black material. And then I made the badge using this tutorial from instructables.

I get the idea for the shirt and made some modifications to it form GiannyL on youtube.

So soft, so fluffy, sooooooo cute. They make me want to kidnap (they would be returned unharmed) them and snuggle with one.

I live in Bako and just found this site a little bit ago and then found my way to this board. If some of you are still up for a meet and greet I would up for it. Its always fun to find others who love making things.

I finally learned how to crochet after knowing how to knit for years and always wanting to learn. I was going to make a hat, then an ear warmer, and then a head band. I twisted it on my second time around so it wouldn't make a very good hat and then I thought ear warmer but my lack of patience and growing announce I settled for a head band.

And now a close up view of it.

This is the first thing I have ever crocheted but I have a feeling it will not be the last thing that comes off my hooked needles. Thanks for looking and tell me what you think.
