Thanks TMommy! The piratey ones were taken just a little bit outside Grayland, which is a tiny town near Westport. We kept driving by all these hilarious street signs and of course the pirate ship and flying saucer every time we left the campground and on the way home we just had to stop and take pictures of the best ones.
I love your first two flower pictures Alibos, where they're all wet. Gorgeous.
I've got just a couple more. These were taken at our campsite on a day with a little more sunshine. I noticed the mushroom the first day we got there and one afternoon the light was perfect so I started snapping away. Once I was down on the ground I noticed the daisies and had to take pictures of them too.
Oh, also: try.fail.repeat - I love the dragonfly pictures! KiwiQ - The beer bottles at night look really cool, I actually like the composition a lot. crafty_cool - The water surrounding that boat is absolutely amazing.
I recently went camping with my friend's family on the coast, near Westport, WA. It was cold and windy instead of hot and sunny like we were expecting but also really beautiful. These are a couple of the pictures I took at the beach. They were all taken while also flying a kite which was a bit of a challenge.
my friend flying a kite
my friend again, I laid down in the sand to take this picture and was focusing too much on taking the picture and almost got myself and my camera soaked by a big wave that snuck up on me
my kite! I love how you can follow the kite string but it bends away and you lose it
Rowenta is definitely the best brand. I sell a lot of irons at work and for general crafting, I think one with a non-stick soleplate might be nice. The heavier the iron, the easier the ironing is, as strange as that sounds, so I would try to find the heaviest one you can afford. Other than that, pretty much all Rowentas have similiar features, the auto shut off, anti-drip, etc.
