First of all, the pattern is great, I love the seed and the color and it really looks beautiful on you. Great job all over.

Second, every time I see that first picture I think you look just like Victoria from America's Next Top Model, the current season. Gorgeous.

thanks! ha ha for a long time my friends kept saying I looked like Shandi from like season 1 or 2  of ANTM (I forget which one she was on) but I guess my hair looks dark in that picture, I'm more of a dirty blond  Wink

Haha my mum was reading this over my shoulder and said, "hey when did you make that?" - she thought the pictures were of me!  So apparently you are my long-lost twin...  Anyway loooove the beret thanks for posting the pattern, I'm planning one in purple!  Ooooh and it would be so great for xmas prezzies!

ha ha ha, sweet! they really are great gifts, quick to knit up and pretty!

wool ease might work, but I haven't used that yarn before so check the gauge. the pattern calls for 4sts/inc on 5mm needles, but I'm sure you could try it with thicker yarn and just cast on a smaller number of stitches in a multiple of two.

p.s I should probably mention I used one skein of Lion Brand Wool. But really you could use any worsted weight yarn as a substitute.

simply brillant!! keep those costumes, it's so simple but so effective that it could be a backup costume for years to come!!!

I finally finnished mine! It took me like a year, but it's always good to have a sock on the go right? well anyways, I love the yarn and how it looks with the pattern.

that's ok! it really is an easy pattern, just knit and purl, knit and purl until you get bored but by then you should have a hat!
