22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 1930's style blouse I made on: October 25, 2011 11:06:56 AM
I like the style of this blouse and the fabric that reminds me of 60s prints.
23  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: fall pillows :) on: October 09, 2011 03:05:05 AM
This pillow is really cute. I like how the different fabrics tie in with each other and the autumn theme.

This looks amazing. I love how all the folds add in a different texture.

26  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Slouchy Hat on: September 04, 2011 02:52:24 AM
This hat was quite a lot of firsts for me. The first time I crocheted in the round, first time I used double crochet and it worked. Also the first time making a hat and wearing a hat.

I used this pattern a size 5.5mm hook and Sirdar supersoft aran wool.
27  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Tetris Heart Cushion on: August 26, 2011 07:16:28 AM
I started making this last November for my friend's birthday. It has taken me 8 months on and off but it's finally finished. It was inspired by other needlework pieces I'd seen on craftster like this. It was done with back stitch, satin stitch, stem stitch and a little bit of blanket stitching around the edges of the cushion to hold it together.

And some close ups of the stitching

It's a good thing we're close friends and she loves tetris otherwise she might think it's creepy  Wink

29  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ear Candy Palooza! (ridiculous number of pictures) on: August 05, 2011 05:04:54 AM
All of these are really pretty. It makes me a little jealous of your earring and cuff making skills!
30  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: My first foray into the world of jam making on: July 26, 2011 02:08:23 AM
This batch of the crab apples were a green and ruby red mixture. They tend to develop to be ruby red in my experience the longer they are on the tree. My crab apples are slightly bigger than yours dulcet, nearly the size of my palm but quite short.
