Oh wow its been so long since I've had some free time to post here! Ive been busy working in glass and this is just a tiny sample of all the new glass goodies Ive been melting.

I finally made a full butterfly after countless people telling me to make some after seeing my glass butterfly wing pendants. Its based off a blue morpho butterfly. One of my favorites:

Dark purple and blue dichroic glass base with a white enamel tree design melted over top it:

Sunset fused glass butterfly wing:

Blue green mix glass wing:

Dragonfly Sunset:

Tree frog on a leaf:

Winter Tree of Life:

Oceans Gift. This one was actually a special piece that I auctioned off to help with the gulf oil spill. The design is one of the hardest I've done in glass. I'll be making one sooner or later for my shop maybe in a light blue ...

Trying something new with this fused glass bird in its cage pendant and I am very excited about it! This pendant is my first to feature multiple layers. There is enough space between the bird and the bars to give it a wonderful 3D look.

Here is another angle to help show the depth in the pendant:

Have a few fantasy inspired fused glass pendants that I made. These are all 100% glass not paint or paper on glass.

Fox Fire ~ Asian folklore inspired that foxes control fire. Wanted his whole body to have a flame feel to it.

Asian Fire Dragon ~ Ive also don this in blue teals.

Enchanted Night ~ Reminds me of the old movie the last unicorn. It took me four tries to finally get this design to work.

Dragon's Wing ~ Tried something other then butterfly wings for a fun change!

Deep Sea Mermaid ~

Ice Dragon Flight ~ Ive also done this in yellow golds.

@artisticclarity: When I first started glass work I wanted to throw my tiny kiln through a wall and give up xD. Nothing felt like it would come out right and it was very frustrating. It took me two years of near daily practice and self teaching before I finally started getting the hang of it and I still have a lot more that I have to learn.

@the.fantastic.mrs.fox : If you want to start glass I suggest checking areas around where you live and see if there is a studio area where you can fuse glass and see if you like it because glass fusing is a very expensive hobby. I went to a stained glass store and paid to have someone teach me what starter tools I would need and showed me how to properly cut the glass (I was a big wuss when I started and was afraid I'd cut myself xD). I knew after that little hour session that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life so I was able to justify investing hundreds to start myself up and attempt to make a business out of what I love <3.
