3  The Fox's Eye in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: January 12, 2013 08:35:01 PM

New fusion of my fused glass work and metal work. I created the base of this necklace with a piece of plain 18 gauge brass which gives it a fantastic weight and feel. The calligraphy style fox design that is now a raised part of the brass is my original drawing making this necklace unique to my shop. I also hand antiqued the brass to get the rich warm color. The center piece I designed and fused myself from a piece of dichroic glass to mimic the rich colors that are found in the eye of a fox.

4  Welcome to the Freak Show in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: June 07, 2012 05:11:51 PM
Playing with enamel work and splicing vintage images to make some new and awesome necklaces. Enameling is the process of melting powdered glass to metal.

5  Hand Torched Enamel Green Blue Drop Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: May 09, 2012 09:16:16 AM

This necklace is made out of three copper disks that I have hand torched enameled with a light blue and and light green colored enamel. The colors and design make for a fantastic formal and casual summer piece. Enameling is the process of melting fine glass powder to metal which is where the design and colors have come from.

The top disk is 1" in diameter, the middle is 3/4" in diameter, and the bottom disk is "1/2 in diameter. The three disks hang down approximately 2 3/8" from the top of the uppermost disk to the bottom of the last disk.

7  Dragons Treasure Cuff Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: July 06, 2011 06:33:33 PM

My first cuff bracelet (Well first bracelet in general)! This one featuring one of my fused glass dragon designs which gives it a very medieval feeling with its antiqued silver tone.  The dragon is my design and made from all glass.

All glass is hand cut and shaped by me and is fired in my kiln multiple times at 1500 degrees to get this wonderful shape. All my pieces are properly annealed for durability. This piece is 100% glass not paper or paint on glass.

9  New Glass Work Picture Chubby in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: November 23, 2010 06:28:29 PM
Oh wow its been so long since I've had some free time to post here! Ive been busy working in glass and this is just a tiny sample of all the new glass goodies Ive been melting.

I finally made a full butterfly after countless people telling me to make some after seeing my glass butterfly wing pendants. Its based off a blue morpho butterfly. One of my favorites:

Dark purple and blue dichroic glass base with a white enamel tree design melted over top it:

Sunset fused glass butterfly wing:

Winter Tree of Life:

Oceans Gift. This one was actually a special piece that I auctioned off to help with the gulf oil spill. The design is one of the hardest I've done in glass. I'll be making one sooner or later for my shop maybe in a light blue ...

10  My Little Pet Fused Glass Pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fusedelegance on: August 17, 2010 03:04:26 PM
Trying something new with this fused glass bird in its cage pendant and I am very excited about it! This pendant is my first to feature multiple layers. There is enough space between the bird and the bars to give it a wonderful 3D look.

Here is another angle to help show the depth in the pendant:
