9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Finger licken good! Pine Poultry. on: February 18, 2010 05:11:39 PM
I've been slacking off lately, but here's my latest.
Could be either a chicken or turkey. The wings and drumsticks are held in place with Velcro, which allows them to be pretend carved. The breast is also held to the platter with Velcro. Also made a little carving knife. It measures approx. 7x5x4 inches.

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Mosaic Jewelry Box on: January 14, 2010 02:35:32 PM
If this is the wrong place for this, please tell me and I will try to remove it.
This is a jewelry box that I made.
The box is black walnut and oak. The lid is a mosaic of walnut, oak and ash. Each piece is individually cut and fitted.
It is lined with red felt.
It is finished with Danish oil and wax.
It measures 5 x 8 x 3 inches.
