1851  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: WWP Yule Swap Round 24 (SU 11-5 to 11-15, SO 12-13-10) on: January 15, 2011 09:42:34 AM
I've found UPS to be more trouble than it's worth. They only seem to try delivering once, and if you're not at home you have to beg them to try again or else go and pick it up yourself from the depot, which is about a 45 minute drive across the city!

Oops! I missed it! I did fill in a questionnaire but I kept getting distracted and had to set it aside a couple of times. Did I never actually send it? Roll Eyes  Oh well, I probably shouldn't get into another swap right now as I've got other things on the go. I'm already looking ahead to Ostara anyway, so that's probably a better one for me.

Maybe we Canucks should mail packages to Edel in Ireland (that seems to take only a day or two) and have her mail them on to you. Obviously Switzerland is one of Canada Post's least favourite places -- maybe the Irish would do a better job!

Uh oh, I better get my questionnaire in. The "tiny" part is going to be hard for me too, but I'll just make a 5" square template and use it to keep myself in line!

It's projects like this that make me wish for a "This really, really rocks!" button!

For those of us who haven't participated in a OTT swap before, can you include the details of size (how tiny is tiny?), extras (allowed or not?) and so forth.

How can I pass this up? It's a chance to get rid of a box or two of tiny stuff. Well, maybe not get rid of exactly, as the same volume comes back to me, but it would feel like I'm de-stashing!

Hey, Fullmoon! Congratulations on the new sewing machine! I think we were all holding our breaths, hoping you'd get one. The Machine From Hell was starting to sound very alarming!

And I love your paintings. No wonder you were working yourself down to a nub before Christmas - there's a lot of work there!
