Small swap - hah! Cheesy

That skirt is really splendid, and it looks like it fits perfectly, which is so hard to do for someone you've never seen. And I'm not sure I'd change the ribbon, either - the grey one looks perfectly good and doesn't break up the line of the back the way a strip of contrasting colour might.

I was thinking of making KimmyLynne a tiny hat fascinator too, and now I'm glad I didn't because it wouldn't have come close to the coolness of Illamdra's.

I'm losing track - is that three pairs of cuffs now? And each one completely different from the others!

Yay Edel! Cheesy  I was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how you were doing! Glad to hear you're going to take Rosie the Wondervan out again this summer. Only half of Europe this year instead of the whole continent! We'll start working good weather magic for you.

Now that you're back, don't be a stranger!

Somehow I doubt the rapture will have much effect either way on the US postal service, so we're probably ok.

The protocol as I understand it is that if you're shipping internationally you don't need to get a confirmation number, but you need to be able to send a photo of the mailing receipt if necessary to prove you sent on time. Canada Post does offer deliver confirmation on larger packages to the US, but I don't think USPS does the same in return.

Swaping is addictive!
No kidding, huh?

Those cuffs look like they fit remarkably well! And the key choker is very pretty - nicely straddles the line between Steampunk, Goth and just funky elegance.

~went to remove large item from dress form ...

It sounds like someone else has chosen to overlook the "small" part of the swap! Cheesy

I'm making good steady progress, in spite of a clogged can of spray paint and having to clean out an entire closet to find something I wanted to use for a reference. Should mail tomorrow without any problem.

I'm glad your honesty was rewarded, Maman, especially as I think I may be the one to benefit from it!

I envy you being so far along. I'm still barely into the thinking stage. No good ideas have come yet, but I'm working hard on it.

Close ups, please! ManiCcrafter, do you have any detail shots of the tree-ring-thing at the top of the photo? It's very intriguing! And just seeing the title and cover of that book makes me covet it, even without really know what it's about!

Hope you're feeling better, Holistic. If you're having the same kind of weather as we are it's not been exactly vitalizing!

I love this! And I'm intrigued and impressed by your painting technique. How did you get that marbleized effect? The only way I can imagine is by loading a fan brush with paint and very lightly skimming it over the surface. But I think there's more to it than that! I hope you'll share the secret.

I can see that the chamber itself was a die-cut kit of some sort, and obviously it can't have ever made anything but a fairy wish chamber, but what did the manufacturer call it? So clever of you to have spotted its real purpose! Cheesy

And finally one last question: how tiny is it? I just realized I have no idea of the scale of what I'm looking at. (More fairy magic at work, I suspect.)

Okay, I've jumped the gun a little and sent out partner PMs now while I have a few minutes free time. I'm sure no one will mind. Wink

If you don't have your partner's questionnaire in your mailbox, PM me and I'll try to find out where it went. Embarrassed

"But wait! I thought I'd still have time to sign up!" Don't worry, we're not going to close the swap until this evening and if any last-minute swappers want to jump on the train as it's pulling out of the station, we'll find room for you!

A reminder to all the swappers that Monnie31 and I are kind of tag-team organizing, so we haven't divided up into groups. When you need to PM about the swap, always send to both of us.

Happy swapping!

I think "bouncing off the walls with excitement" is the perfect state of mind for making jester hats! Hang in there for a few more hours.
