Okay, now I'm going to have to sniff everything before I mail it! I can't imagine what you can smell, but at least it smells good. Smiley

I'm glad you liked the candles, and I hope they're useful. The candlesticks were a late addition when I was looking for something else and found three unpainted candlesticks and realized they were (almost) the right size for the candles I'd made. (Some trimming will be required.) Our house is really crowded at the moment and horizontal surfaces are at a premium, so I was dipping candles on top of the washing machine. Of course this was a bad idea, and sure enough just as I was finishing the last candle I got careless and spilled an entire can of liquid wax into the washer. Embarrassed A month later I'm still picking bits of blue wax out of the filter after every wash!

A newbie! (Maybe more than one, even.) Welcome, and we hope you have as much fun in this little "coven" as we all do.

Okay, I finally get to post pics of my package from Fullmoon! We both kept more-or-less within the "2 smalls" limit, which is hard to do!

The whole package. Two plain candles and two tea lights, two wrapped bundles and a mysterious black pouch.

And it turns out Fullmoon has added a new craft to her repertoire. The pouch proves to contain a totally ingenious chain mail tea-light hanger!

In one of the two bundles is a chain mail bracelet (anklet?) with a very interesting fairy charm, and the other a rose quartz pendant with two green anodized aluminum leaves. I like them both. Cheesy (I immediately checked to see if I could wear the bracelet as a hat-band, but of course it's too small!)

Thanks for these, Fullmoon, and I hope, hope, hope that your package arrives immediately!

Finally, here's the wonderful box I got from Killam Creative. Now I'm glad I waited to open it today because I was having a grumpy morning and this made it all better.

Inside the big mailing box was this little package. You just know it's going to be good, don't you?

This handsome fairy gent folds up from the top of the box. The little arrow turns to keep him upright. (The larger dial also turns, which is very cool.) The outside of the box is covered in the same Japanese washi paper as the tag on the outer package.

I love the fact that what I sent Susan includes a few things very similar to things she sent me! Clockwise from the matchbox gears:

  • 2 very interesting safety pins
  • a 3-D clock inchie (adhesive-backed)
  • a length of beautiful antique lace trim
  • a pair of + and - magnets (had to separate them for safety) Wink
  • a copper wire spiral
  • a lovely antique brass key
  • a pocket watch charm
  • a tiny laminated butterfly
  • 2 stamps, one with an airship and a walrus Cheesy
  • 2 little gilded leaf skeletons (my favourite out of the whole box!)
  • 2 gears (one is weighting down the leaves)

Thanks so much for this. The box is immediately going on display, and I'll make very good use of all the contents.

Came home to a huge package from Killam Creative today, but it was all air bag packing and there was a normal-size matchbox sitting inside. I'm waiting til the morning to open it because I want to take a picture of the packaging in better light. The wait may kill me! Angry

The WWP Swaps are a lot of fun, and it's a great way to get to know really great people here on Craftster. If you're wondering what kind of stuff we do, have a look at some of the past WWP galleries. It's wildly varied and includes a lot of different crafts, materials and approaches to witchcraft and Pagan spirituality. The best way to find out if you'll like it is to dive in and join!

Yes MamanT, you've been greatly missed. I was so glad to see you'd signed up!

I think I've added everyone who's sent in a questionnaire so far. We're both new to this here organizin' stuff, so if you think you've signed up but WWP 28 doesn't appear in your swap list for a day or so, it probably means we've lost you somehow and a reminder PM is needed. Smiley

So glad to hear the wee lad is feeling a bit better, Monnie. And nice that your package finally came, so you don't have to worry about that at least! Now get some sleep. Wink

I received a lovely little package from Fullmoon today (finally!) I think I'm going to be away from home til after dark again tomorrow, but pics on Wednesday I promise.
