Wow, Quasior, that's quite a haul! It's like a shopping trip! I especially like the green Lady on the stag, and the disk with the trees. What is that? a tile?

If you turn it upside down you'll see it's a dragon with wings  Wink

Hey, there it is! I could see the wings, but not the head. Cheesy

I love the star and wreath, kmichele. The way you've done the wood pattern on the vine is so delicate. If that's the pink Speedball rubber, I must get some. I find the white much too soft too.

Three done, one to go. I'll probably mail two tomorrow, and then sit down and decide what I want to do for that pesky fourth stamp. I thought I had it worked out, but it wasn't working. Sad

No problem, Wulf. We normally write on the questionnaires but both of us totally forgot this time. LOL

She is actually my twin sister- we are having a good time with this. Our husbands always tells us that she has one side of the brain while I have the other. So I'm going to make her guess what I did before she can open it!!  Grin

What?! Shocked How could I not have known this by now? That's so funny! Cheesy I'll have to make a note for future reference!

I hadn't realized you and Jennden were so near each other, Witchhippie! Cheesy Florida is a big state, so I guess I just assumed you wouldn't be neighbours.

Okay, sign-ups are officially closed, and we already have our first sender, trisarose (within a few minutes of getting her partner, which must be some sort of record!), so I'll open a gallery shortly. And a special welcome to Eiseldora, who slipped in just as I was slamming the giant iron gates. Wink

Partners coming up very shortly. Check your inbox in a half-hour or so. Remember that this will be the person you're sending your envelope to, but in most cases you'll be receiving from a different person.

Update @ 6:24 pm - PMs all sent out. I'm not going to officially close sign-ups for a few more hours, though, and can still accommodate latecomers.

Remember to PM me and your partner when you've sent.

I received my first stamp this afternoon, from IdlersDesign. Actually it's two stamps:

One is a tribal tattoo-style wolf (very cool!) and I'm not exactly sure what the other is, whether it's an abstract design or if I'm just not seeing it, but it's equally cool. I like the thick, yellow rubber they're carved from - it's very heavy.

Here's the print of both stamps.

In addition, she included a dozen stickers printed with other stamps. I didn't get them all into one photo, but here are a few of them. These are really creative!

Thanks, Christina!

I love the Victoria's Secret penguin! And the idea of henna design stamps is sheer brilliance - I have a whole file of them somewhere. Must dig those up.

I've carved my first two stamps from a Speedball stamp carving block and I have to agree I worry about it being too soft to last. It carves well (I was using micro carving gouges, and they cut through it beautifully) but it's pretty fragile. I'm switching to my old standby white eraser for the next two. But I ironed my laser-printed images onto the block with a very hot iron and it didn't seem to hurt it at all.
