1651  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Canadian small envelope swap Gallery! on: October 27, 2010 09:05:06 PM
Once again I missed seeing that the Gallery was already up. What great stuff! I love the fact that so many people have sent interesting buttons. Chipmunk paperclips! A postcard by ManWoman! Shocked And -zoma- gets extra points for including an entire book in her envelope!

Looking at what everyone else sent of course I can now think of so many things I could have included in my envelope. Wouldn't it be the perfect opportunity to make pop-ups, for example? Or origami that folds flat? A mobile! Wind chimes! Paper dolls!

Look out, Round 2!

Congratulations Saturn on being surviving having two full-time jobs, and Edel on the sexy (and generous) new BF.

Received from hardyswanton today, so I think that's the full set. I'll set them up for a photo and post it in the new gallery.

That Green Man is very cool! And it can't have been easy to get such a good photo of it, either! I'll be Wisting that right away.

I got right in there to Wist the bag and the rune stone with everyone else! Your machine embroidery is lovely, SofS, and it's not all the Husqvarna's doing. The machine only does the mechanical work; you were the one who made it look so good! I'm intrigued by the cover on the Book of Shadows. What's that fabric, and how did you apply it to the cover. It looks like a knit, which seems like it would be a nightmare to bind a book with. What's your secret?

Got my dream card from Wulf on Saturday. What nice penmanship you have dear sir! I am in envy.
I received from Wulf yesterday.  I thought my handwriting was neat and somewhat pretty but holy COW!  Your penmanship is just amazing!  *sooooo envious*  Cheesy

That's very funny, because I always fret that my penmanship is so shaky and wonky! It has a kind of Tim Burton-ish quality which can be fun, but not exactly elegant!! Thanks for the votes of confidence, though. Cheesy

I'm glad you got yours today, MamanT. I was beginning to worry!

Received from Karmamomma and Ffrogg today. That makes nine so far.

This really is spectacular! I love the minimal way you've done her eyes, and to such great effect.

This sounds great! I loved the Tiny Haunted Houses. I'm also looking forward to seeing what you all do!

Finally had time to wade through the pages and pages of goodness (and cats:D) that have already piles up. Wow! Some megapackages to start off!

Monnie, you've outdone yourself (and that's saying a lot!) but I especially like the little shelves. And whileitsraining, that gathering bag is brilliant! Cant wait for MamanT to get back with the photography - I know it must be killing you to be without. I bet Mariann does something adorably cute every five minutes just because you don't have a camera!

Happy Blood Moon to you all! (Okay, that sounds weird. Never mind.)

I'd love to see just how ridiculously over-stuffed these envelopes are. Let's be sure to take pictures of them before they're unpacked!
